I love that the orchestra is comprised of people from all different walks of life, backgrounds, and histories. They are united by a common force known only as music. I think that's what Dilla wanted to do: unite the human race through music. A man of few words, he thought years into the future.

Most of these musicians didn't even knew who Dilla was, if I remember correctly :). I remember Miguel Atwood Ferguson say something along those lines on the DVD, about everybody going in for an incredible experience, when a lot of them were unfamiliar with Dilla's work beforehand.
