  • A century of Gleaner combines is something to celebrate. Check out the sneak peek of our Gleaner Combines documentary to mark how Gleaner fits right into the future with the evolution of design and technology while keeping our century-old, farmer-focused foundation the same.

    Aaron Beyer..I remember Kevin Beins passion for the S series ….unfortunately after his passing gleaner never had true person to carry the torch into the future…sure they had a few guys here and there to somewhat fill that void but no one with that special passion and fire inside until now . Aaron Beyer is doing an amazing job keeping the Gleaner name in the fore front!!!!..it’s refreshing to see and know that the Gleaner combine is in very capable hands!!!! Keep up the awesome job Aaron your doing one hell of a job!!

    Just think how much better the Gleaner would be if Agco had not wasted billions of dollars on the Ideal combine. That machine has so much more potential if it was only tapped into. I know for a fact an air blast on top of the cage helps a lot with rotor loss. Ideal, what a waste of good money.

      It's only a waste if no lesson was learned or insight gained. For all the times "we" see failer, Gleaner sees; opportunity to learn, inovate, and grow. That is as true now as it was 100 years ago.

      @@gleanerman2195 my first combine was an L2 and I got rid of it in 88 because Deutz had destroyed the Gleaner conventional combines, and we're on their way on wrecking the Rotary, so I did the same as you

    Hy guys, question to you please: if some mano people like the Gleaner combines because the design is simple, lightweight, good grain quality, simple maintenance, good grain sample, etc, why its market share is low in USA? Are there a reason for it? Tks

    • @GleanerCombinesTV
      @GleanerCombinesTV  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There are probably a million different answers to this question that involve a lot of different opinions. A simple and likely obtuse answer would be awareness of and knowledge about the machine and dealers. Both of which we're working on improving.

      I would say stigma from past eras of operators not knowing\caring how to set the machines up properly, as well as not operating them according to conditions in the field.
      In the farming game "word of mouth" is king, and when the word is "bad", it travels far and fast.
