There is an extended video where you might understand the story a bit more
I appreciate you doing a reaction to Adore You! However, you should have done the extended version because it gives a whole backstory to the music video. It’s literally like a short film.

Yeah this mv feels kind of irrational if you don't see the whole extended version with narratives and the proper ending.
You really must see the extended version to understand the official video. The whole “Adore You” musical story is awesome! I have never seen anything like it. They created a fictitious island called Eroda with a map, history, visitor information, etc. before the song and video even came out. Harry and his team are some of the most creative, innovative people in music today! I’m 72 and I recognized Harry as a very special man as soon as I heard him and I’ve lived through some of the greatest stars of all times; Elvis, the Beatles and The Rolling Stones to name a few. Harry is one of those iconic people whose talent is limitless.
It IS a relationship song. On the extended version the story opens up: The fish is actually an outkast, as he is in that small village, too. They find eacother and fall in love - the fish of course represents the love he once found and evetually lost. The loved one grew too big and had to leave him.. and he had to let it go. But he still adores him.. I mean, it! The Fish! HE ADORES THE FISH!
The song is prob my favourite on the album. Well, it's hard to pick a favourite, since the whole album is just SO good. This one however possibly has the best groove out of all the songs on that album.
I like how u appreciate how harry is so different in his styles of music..to be so lonely and sunflower are two of his songs i think u would enjoy, also sweet creature is awesome too!
Also, lights up is a great one and two ghosts, its a bit slower but all 5 songs I mentioned are all very different and very enjoyable!

Great reaction as usual! Your confusion over the storyline in the music video had me in stitches lol if you have time watch the extended 8 minute version where the story starts a few minutes before the song begins
there's a book, called Louis the Fish and it's pretty similar
The book "Louis The Fish" is rumored to be like related to and Louis the fish can also be equal to Louis Tomlinson iykyk
It's about a person, but he doesn't talk about who. He is very private and has very smart if you think about it, because in all his interviews about the song, when ever they ask him who it's about. He's answers "Well, it's about a fish" Then they all laugh, cause they know That's Harry's way of saying, yeah I'm not telling you who it's about. Lol

Watermelon Sugar, Adore You and Lights Up are the most poppy songs on his second album (and in his discography so far). You should react to Lights Up, preferably live. It's a good song, almost a synth-rock with a good base beat, just like in thos one. Also, Girl Crush is a great cover by Harry, please, react to it too :)
