In 1961 I was 7 years old listening to this incredible song on KRLA AM radio in LA, and they played it 2 -3 times an hour. To this day it is one of those rare singles that you never get sick of hearing. Incredible harmony.
I’m 75 and grew up with this great music. This was a very big hit, and Nick had a fabulous voice. I saw them at the Woodbridge, NJ Doo Wop Concert Show. RIP,Nick!
I had the most passionate love strolling through the park well the moon was out!❤ God Bless the beautiful girls, we loved one another, but we were young....I pray you had wonderful lives!❤❤
I had the honor of mixing this song at Radio City Music hall for a wonderful doo-wop show in the 80's. It had been one of my favorite songs growing up. What a thrill!
I recently lost one of my big brothers and for whatever reason I was thinking about this song the other day. This was the first 45 I ever owned, and my brother Rob gave it to me for Christmas when I was 9. I went on to the 60's and the Beach Boys and the Stones, and the eighties hair bands, but the fouindation for it all was 50's rock n roll, a steady stream of it provided by that brother. Miss you Rob. Thank you, TH-cam.
Touching story, Bonnie, and if you read this today 11/8, at about 5 AM there will be a total eclipse of the blood moon, then it will come back, just like Rob will in your dreams
I am so very luckey to have spent some time with Nickey Santo and his crew a few times when they performed at our annual Italian Feast in Cambridge Mass these are guys that have left their mark in music like so many others Dion Vito Picone 4 Seasons Frankie Avalon Bobby Rydell the list is endless this music will always be with us and will always stand the test of time
Saw the Capris a couple of times in the late 80s. Put on a great show. They were kind of doing a club circuit. Nick had a fabulous voice, just like the one in this live performance. Very friendly and engaging with the audience, would sit down chat and relax after his show. Damn sure deserves Many more comments than the few that are here. Rest in peace, Nick
Replying to my own comment, whenever I saw them at the Jersey shore, they would take a natural break in the middle of their show, and Nick would ask around if someone could do the bass lines at the beginning of “Morse code of love“ brought that guy on stage and they would go right into the song. This was a very cool group, worthy of respect and admiration.
at least this was originally recorded AFTER stereo came out. so many groups like bill hailey 's comets didn't get to be recorded the way music was meant to be

Good music doesn't get old. So glad I experienced the 1950s -- maybe the best decade of songs.
Amen it was the best music that is fore sure.
1954- 1963 The greatest ten years in music history!
As beautiful as original in 1961. I’m 75and have always loved this.

I’m 76 years old and I grew up with this music. This is the best music. This is the best music a child in the 60s could listen to.
I’m 84 . Those were the days. ‘There’s a moon out tonight, let’s go strolling through the park’. Not in UK you won’t.
It's like no time has passed at all. Fantastic performance! I would love to have been there.
Love that song by a great doo-wop group!
I am 43 years old, grew up listening to the 50s and 60s music thanks to my parents. Who the hell are the three idiots that gave this a thumbs down?
Moron kids who listen to mumble rap most likely.
They are knuckleheads, Erik. Don’t be offended or bothered by them
Democrats.

Unbelievable that Nick and his group could pull up great falsetto pitches as the original arrangement calls for. They were GREAT!

I've been into do wop for a long time, especially since the revival by Sha Na Na, but I'd never heard this song before. What a gem!
One of the finest of that era. They pull it off here beautifully. What a great tune!
