    In passing, I mentioned an interest in airplanes to a lady I worked with. She said I needed to check out her husband's RC planes. I went to the club field to watch him fly and I was hooked! I told my wife I was going to buy an RC plane and she thought something small, but this "massive" box with a Nexstar Select trainer showed up on our door step. Since then I have flown small electrics, to nitro, and recently got into big gassers. I have watched Flite Test for years and I love how they have made the hobby more accessible and try to get families involved in the hobby.

      FlightReviewz been threatening to build another. But those new DLG models just look so sexy. Maybe a future review, DLG help me decide which one I should get for a first timer.

    Hello, Great unboxing. I was wondering if by corrugated you mean foam board and not corroplast wich is corrugated plastic? Thanks for your time.

      Paul, you are 100% correct. I didn't realize that I had said corrugated until I watched the video back. I did, in fact, mean foam board.
      Thank you for your comment.

    One of the things that got me into the hobby was Flite Test TH-cam videos. They are very passionate about what the do and I when they push the design envelope.

    Must do mods in my opinion are cutting air vents in rear of fuselage for air flow to exit to avoid the motor and esc over heating issues in most reviews. Also I reinforced every portion of landing gear with foam glue and super glue. Also recommended CG is completely to far rear. I put 2200mah battery within cm of motor mount and grind down the protruding screw tips from motor mount that would puncture your Lipo battery if hard crash.

      Thank you for the Feedback Kevin!! We are going to fly ours this weekend and will report back what we find.

      @@FlightReviewz Good luck. I get a wingtip stall about every third flight... never remember to keep more throttle than a Horizon hobby bush plane through the turns but I fly at 8000'. Kudos to Flite Test on the durability of the plane except for the landing gear.

    What is the wing span??

    • @FlightReviewz
      @FlightReviewz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is 43.3" or 49.2" depending on what wing tips you select.

    I got into the hobby when I was flying RC helicopters then I bought a DX6 and I saw the Sport Cub s2 and i thought it might be cool to try out flying airplanes and since then I focused on flying airplanes. I still fly helicopters now and then but I prefer planes:)

      Great story. Jason flew helis for a while also. He has tried a few different aspects of the hobby and always seems to come back to the planes.
