    Finishing an Extreme Flight 3DHS Edge 540 92 running a DA70 and Spektrum a6300 servos then going to be starting a JTA Extra 300 currently using an IX12 for transmitter like the ease of the programming in the menu system

    • @FlightReviewz
      @FlightReviewz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The iX series are definitely super easy to program. We have the 12 and the 20. Both are great radios!!!

      Thank you for the feedback, Rolf. We may not do a complete unboxing on this one, but we will definitely be reviewing the airframe. So far it looks like a really nice unit! Are you considering buying one?

    Love your videos!
    Jet legend F16 1/8 scale, bought used ready to fly as my first jet so checking everything and upgrading a few things.
    Seagull Edge 540 build - I've done my first YT video on the unboxing!
    Also a balsa bash Panic biplane is almost done.
    Slowly transitioning from Spektrum dx9 to Futaba 16sz bought for the jet.
    I also need to stop procrastinating!
    Keep up the good work!

    Hi Jason the extreme flight box you are showing.What size is it has or electric ?

    • @FlightReviewz
      @FlightReviewz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey John. It is a 60" v2 extra that will be electric. Powering it with the X-Power 22cc motor paired to a Castle Talon ESC with Savox servos all the way around.

    Hi Jason do you use fuel filters with your engines ??

    • @FlightReviewz
      @FlightReviewz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      John, we will definitely not be using a fuel filter on this plane. LOL. On the larger, gas planes, Jason does not use an inline filter. He uses a ceramic pickup clunk in his fueling system, an inline filter on the fill line of the can, and he uses filtered clunks on the fuel tank in the plane. Hope this helps.

    Hey Jason, Nice Plane. I like the unboxing videos, building a Hanger 9 81" Ultra Stik as I watch . debating if I should I try out Savox 1270TGs or is it overkill on a this airframe.

      Hey there, John. I am well. We are a little hectic out this way these days. I have the EF Yak completed. The EF Extra is also complete. This plane should be ready to fly this weekend. The Freedom Fox is also ready. With Covid and weather, John and I have had a hard time coming together. We will get it worked out though!!

    This is a fun plane. I just bought a replacement landing gear and prop after 50 flights or so due to flying from hay fields. Some people upgrade to the 4s power system, but if you stick to "low and slow" 3d or just basic pattern flying, it has plenty of power. For night flying I suggest 2600 packs as the 2200 don't last with the lights on (all those LED's draw about 2.5 amps). Mine will fit in my hatchback with the wings in place, so it is my most common plane to just fly. I use a futaba radio.

    Hey Jason, I really love all the videos that you put out and find them very helpful for getting into IMAC and 3D. I recently bought the mamba 10 from flex and absolutely love it! I did upgrade it to 4s and now the punch out of a hoover is much better. Also, I'm 22 and I really want to start getting into aerobatics and specifically freestyle competitions. I notice all the freestyle comp's are only invitational mostly and so I'm thinking Imac is the way to go to get into freestyle. Any advice on that?. I live in northern CA and no one really seems to do much much giant or mid size 3D let alone Imac, so I really appreciate your videos. maybe i'll try and make it out to clover creek or Tucson shoot out one day. Thanks!
    Eric J.

    • @FlightReviewz
      @FlightReviewz  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Eric!! Where in Nor Cal are you? Most local IMAC contacts, at least here in the southwest, have a freestyle portion of the event so IMAC is a great way to get into Freestyle.
      Thank you for the feedback on the videos. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you in your journey.

    I'm working on a 1970s cub, I'm rebuilding the rudder and elevator but I'm finding it rather difficult to but the equipment for it so I'm trying to reuse some of the old components and this is my first rc plane restoration as I'm 15 I suppose I'm just getting into the into 4 channel. I started on a 2 chanel then a 3 and now a 4. Any tips on flying 4 channel?

    • @FlightReviewz
      @FlightReviewz  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Frasier!! When you say you started on 2 channel and then moved to 3 channel were you flying gliders at first? The best tip we have is to take your time and get someone to help you if at all possible. Don't hesitate to post any questions you may have here, we would love to help out if we can.
