There were 3 times and all 3 times were during ONE US Olympic TRIALS for a stimulate called pseudoephedrine which is found in cold medications. He wasn't the only athlete to fail for this drug during this Olympic Trials. There were several and they all appealed and they all won their appeals. Then the IAAF backed up the appeals. Enough said.
