- Platformer Mode opens the door to a wide array of possibilities in the level editor, especially combined with 2 Player Mode, allowing two icons to roam freely in the world. Today, I'll be building a level that requires each of the 2 players to be dependent on each other to get through, i.e. a cooperative platformer!

6:57 you can also change that by using the ID 2 thing in the event trigger, iirc typing in 1 makes it so it only triggers if p1 does the event and the same with 2 for p2 (0, default, means either)

I made a feature in a 2 player platformer where a mini cube could ride the bigger one and the normal cube could give the mini a jump boost, it was cool. Anyway, very cool level, under 1 hour.

You weren't able to make the cubes different speeds during the part where the top cube has to use a platform that follows the bottom cube, but one thing you could do instead is make the bottom cube more slippery. Obviously the simplest way to do that is to make the blocks on the bottom ice blocks, but ice might be a bit too slippery, and there are other options. You get slightly slippery physics while being affected by force blocks (even when the force is pointing downwards or upwards) and you get slightly more slippery physics for the cube being affected by force blocks if you also disable "Decrease Boost Slide" in the legacy options. I made a copy to demonstrate this, the ID is 107017678
Fireboy and watergirl is another game where you need the second player to progress

yo i really like how recently youve been building a lot of levels cuz I was just thinking about gd TH-camrs like tried or wulzy (they're cool, no hate) kinda got "lazier", like back then they did a lot of building but nowadays they just do these lazy stuff like lvl request and recent tab challenge and stuff like this but u did basically the exact opposite and I think that's really cool :)
