  • Unboxing and First Look at the Snap-On BJP1 Ball Joint and U-Joint Puller. This is a spendy kit. Probably not something for the home user, but it does look great for the guys that would be using it all the time professionally.
    Kit sold on the website:
    store.snapon.com/Ball-Joint-P...
I bought it off the truck. prices can be different depending on the level of dealer douchebaggery...
For those of you that made it this far into the description, profess to the world using the comment section, your love for spicy chicken wings with a nice dipping sauce of your choosing............

It's fun to see you get excited over a tool. I'm that way too so I get it. Congrats on your new purchase.

Nice kit...Fortunately the vehicles here I have to work on have ball joints incorporated in the control arms..Change the ball joint and arm in one with new bushes too and they are cheap.

When I was looking for 1 I weighed out the pro's and con's on the snapon 1 and the OTC. For the few times a year that I do them. I went with the OTC. I really liked the snapon 1. I don't do any Dana 60's or 80's. Manly Dana 30's and 44's.
    And 1/2 tons trucks.
    Thanks for the video Clyde.

I googled it and my jaw did drop but after watching the video I see the advantages. That looks like it would come in real handy for ujoints as opposed to the vice or BFH. I'd love to see a video of you putting it to use.

I agree with you, I only purchase snap tools, only when I need quality ones, such as the 1/2in cordless impact gun. Great review

Anything Snap On is "spendy". That said, stuff i purchased 20 years ago is still working today, electrical included. As a master professional, I generally purchase quality tools. There are circumstances where i do buy junk for alteration or emergency 1 time use. I will say the Ball joint press i bought 15 years from HFT is on its last leg, but it has been thr9ough some exceedingly brutal jobs, and has been severely abused. However if i remember correctly the S.O. pieces lock together instead of doing the balancing act to use it in precarious situations. Hence the reason i want one. To simplify a job is money well spent.

    Not a puller, it’s a press !

    It’s a press, not a puller! There’s a difference!

No thanks... I prefer to keep my ball out of a press.
