I think what is important here is the content of the speech and not the speech delivery and accent. these comments are saddening to see people trying to discredit the points he is raising because of his accent. it's no wonder Zimbabwe is where it is today because the populace digresses from the real issues and focus on rubbish (meaningless sideshows) while the powers that be continue to plunder and abuse us and the country with impunity. what is the issue with this guy's accent really??? Chinamasa has a very heavy accent but no one doubts his nationality, Chinotimba has a heavy accent and an atrocious command of English, the man can barely put together two or three congruent sentences in English hence he prefers to speak vernacular regardless of where he is but no one questions his nationality so why the furore about this guy??? there are many Zimbabweans who cannot construct simple English sentences and speak with similar or worse accents as this guy so I think we should stop elevating ourselves to lofty heights in our command of English and focus on what he is revealing.
