We love our Clear2O and Dirtguard and been using for a couple years. Our water has been much improved and based on your previous recommendation. As for this system, not all Rvers get a free product to review and can afford to invest in a $400+ product. The Blutech filters are half the size, so this means half the capacity. Changing filters more frequently, thus more cost. We use a OntheGO softener and haven't had any issues. Your RV water tank is plastic, do you sanitize it? If your concern about plastic is true, aren't you re-contaminating the filtered water by putting it in your tank? Sorry, this video sounds like the home shopping network.
The water tank in the RV will really only be used for when you're boondocking and you shouldn't be drinking from that. So drinking water would have to be some other source entirely. This is really only going to be used when you have water hookup at a campground.
I use the best in line clear water 1 micron filter. Then use the affordable ZeroWater Filter 22 cup drinking water dispenser system. The replacement filters are $15 ea and when you buy 4 to 6pack it goes to $10. Original investment is 30,00. And i use an average of 5 filters per year.
I have the Clear Source Ultra with Virus Guard. 0.5 microns. Then I have a Pro Aqua Pro water softener. I also added an APEC Reverse Osmosis and the Acuva UV filter. These are all permanently installed inside my fifth wheel. I also installed this system so that the water goes through the triple filter then water softener and then into the fresh water tank. I swapped the quick connects that you are using to cam lock quick connects, these are industrial grade, same type of quick connects used for refueling trucks, aircraft, etc. totally delighted with my system. The Clear source is a much taller filter, which is a disadvantage for size and storage, but the filters won’t require changing as often. So I simply connect the water from the city to the rv because my system is permanently installed. No worry about freezing, heat, time to setup or theft.
Love our clear source as well! But the virus guard is actually 0.01 micron. The middle one is .5 and first one is 5. I just emailed them to double check (I thought it was .02) I’m going to into the cam locks as well and change out quick connections. Never heard of them. Amazon? Thanks for the info!
Just hit our 2 year full time anniversary on Sunday. We watched a lot of full time videos before we left since we had only been weekend warriors for 20 years. I knew all about campground water! We always brought jugs from home for us and pups. We saw you guys and some others had the clear2o. We loved it! At first. It really does do a good job but we kept loosing pressure. The worse the water was the faster we lost pressure because the filters clogged. So they for sure did their job but couldn’t afford to keep replacing the filters! And the lid cracked 6 months ago and they did send me a new one for free which was awesome. We still use the big dirt guard as our main 20 micron dirt filter in hopes to keep our other filters clean. When it breaks finally we will just use one of the blue ones that we bought when the green ones wouldn’t give us pressure anymore. So we did lots more research on all brands and decided to go with clear source 3 stage with virus guard and also the on the go water softner. We love the system. It wasn’t cheap but I can drink it. And we drink a lot of water! I would have to buy way to much so the system was worth it. We fit the outside version with metal case and one side is totally solid which faces out. We push it under the rig a bit and also bike lock that and the softner to the frame. Then when we leave they both fit right in the compartment and if we go. I went with the virus guard even though it was a bit more money but it goes down way lower than any other I have seen. I wanted to verify the microns because for some reason they don’t post it. I remember having to ask before we bought it. The box for filters might say but I don’t have it anymore. But they Emailed me right back and the virus filter is 0.01 microns. So we use.. our old green clear2o first 20 micron then our 3 stage clear source 5 micron, 0.5 micron and 0.01. I’ll attach some pics. Don’t have one on rig we are traveling but can take it when we arrive if anyone wants. But I’ll attach screenshot from their site if anyone wants to see it. We are super happy with it and it’s been 1.5 years. Flow never changes and filters last much longer. So worth it for us. And customer service has been on point!! Even yesterday when I sent a email to ask microns Of virus guard. Your system looks awesome too. Can’t wait to hear how you like it. I like that’s it’s smaller. And love the connections!! We have stainless on the clear source but we cheaped out with plastic quick connects. Gonna look for the ones you guys have. They look fantastic!! Worth the money!!
Glad you found a reliable set up. Having good water is a must for us. We looked at the same set up, but I wanted something more compact due to space constraints.
Nice video. I think most people just grab the filters at Walmart and other places like ya'll said, thinking that a water filter was a water filter, and they were all the same. Thanks for bringing the issue into the light. I figure a lot of folks, after seeing this will start looking at the filter systems. If all they use water system for is to bath and wash dishes, doesn't make that much difference I guess, but if drink it or cook with it, might be a good idea to get a better filtration system. Thanks again, guys. God bless ya'll and stay safe on the road.
We recently switched from Clear2O to ClearSource with .05 microns as the smallest filter. We also have an Acuva ultraviolet water purifier that is inline to our water dispenser in the fridge and a faucet over the sink for drinking water. We use an On-the-Go water softener. We are definitely interested in your experience with Blu because the form factor will likely fit in our water bay so we don’t have to have it outside the rig. The ClearSource is a really big solution, pretty heavy, and a PITA to pack up and carry around. Looking forward to your updates.
Great video! I have been using Blu for almost a year now and love the system!! Blu is small enough that I was able to mount inside the basement where my single filter was so I never have to worry about someone walking off with it.
We meet you and Phil at the “Mobile Must Have” table at the Escapade in Tucson-We had just bought the whole “BLU” system and we really love it -Working really good 👍 😊
And they're made right here in Michigan. The only filter I have right now is the big one in a canister like you showed but I have been investigating a more robust system. I think I'm going with this one. Why? I like the compact size and the stainless steel hoses and fittings. Although brass is not too bad it will corrode over time and get a little rough thereby wearing o-rings. I talked to these guys at the Tampa show and the 3 cartridges are $55 and need to be replaced about every 3 months they said. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
We are down to 9 months till we are full timers and took your advice did some of our own research and just bought the bundle using your code!! Thanks for this video!!
We only use camp water for showers and dish washing and do filter with a cheap in-line filter. Drinking and cooking water comes out of a jug. As a Class C owner we focus on not carrying extra stuff. Your setup is great if you have the space and depend on camp water. Also, I would be concerned about equipment thief when not around.
Bought this one last year and I really like it. You're correct, it doesn't slow down the flow at all. I first bought it because of the look and the size, but then I realize it's a great product.
Thanks for the informative video, I was looking for a solution to the problem of hauling so much bottled water on my RV trips. The current trip is only a week long, but I hauled 4.5 gal of water, mostly for coffee, plus some small bottles for drinking away from the trailer. I have been using the obligatory CAMCO blue cylinder and want better quality water. The water weight/cost is starting to cut into my beer supply. Something had to go, and as an old retired widower, it wasn't going to be the beer! Thanks for the 5% discount that I received from these folks with my order. Their sale price for this completely stainless model is $100.00 below the cost of the blue plastic and stainless unit sold on AMAZON, before my discount.. A really good deal for me. I enjoy your videos, and your no BS approach; and subscribed finally . Travel safely and have fun.
I use a ClearSource ultra, but this seems like a more thorough solution. My water is Absolutely 100 percent better and we drink from the faucet now, coffee etc so not disappointed with the ClearSource but always looking for better water.
Just a heads up. When you are hooking up to the campsite or any spicket. Turn it on and let a couple gallons flush out the spicket. You woulden't belive the nastey water I have seen come out. Better to have that first slug of yuck on the ground than in your filters. By the way Happy Easter to you!
That's a great looking system. I run a 2 stage filtration system. The first filter is 5 micron and the second filter is 0.5 micron. Your new system looks great.
When you were in the Navy, what did you filter the sea water down to before you gave it to the crew to drink and to use in cooking. These kinds of things can become a numbers game taking things beyond reasonable and prudent. I don't want to invest is a 0,02 micron filter if a 0.1 is all that makes sense. The Navy has probably determined what level of filtration makes sense!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉 We have been using Blue Tech for 7 months now. And, love it. Great taste, great water flow, and safe water. We also use a water softener but not Blue Tech….not yet anyway. The water softener will also protect the water heater anode rods as they last longer.
We had a Forest River factory filter with a pretty decent filter cartridge for about 7 years. Two years ago we bought our current rig (Grand Design Reflection 315RLTS) and from the get go installed a ClearSource Ultra filter. I added my own soldered copper pipe fitting to it so that we could install into our storage bay end wise, right next to the Nautilus wet bay. Makes it so easy to connect both the input and output fittings from standing on the outside (within arms reach) and have had zero problems with water on our many travels. We are still vacationers, spending about 30 nights a year in the unit. We have seen the cost of filters go from $50 to $70 per set. One set lasts us for the year, but if full timing thinking we’d need 3-4 sets… so cost of filters will be an operating cost factor. Thinking your smaller filters are probably not half the cost, so you may have higher filter costs on an annual basis? ClearSource Ultra goes down to .5 micron. The unit is about $500 to buy, same as Blu so we don’t plan to change. We don’t get a free one like you guys do! Am interested in the softener, but my wife says has not been an issue yet. Love your channel and you both! Thank you for addressing water quality for your followers. Very important.
We use the blue Camco filter. Why? The quality of campground water is regulated by the municipal water system. It is subject to strict standards and testing. The thing we are worried about is scale, rust, and other debris from systems that may have to recover from events like being winterized or the occasional lack of use. The Camco serves that purpose. I don’t have a system like that in my house so why in my RV?
We are currently using the SpiroPure in-line filter which filters down to 1 micron and is a salt free descaler. It is our first season using it so we shall see how it goes. Our travel style is extended weekenders- 2 week long RVers. For drinking water we fill a 3 gal bottle and have it on the counter.
Just a weekend warrior using the Camco filters for now. We only camp about 20-30 nights a year, so I feel good about what we’re doing for now. But, I do look forward to your 6 month review on this as we will be increasing our camping now that we are empty nesters. Thanks for the info.
I've been using the "blue" water filters everyone uses but am looking for something better. Price is just a tad much for my weekend warrior self, lol. Great info to add to the arsenal of water filter info! Love your videos!!!
Oh our Riverstone it comes standard with a single blu technology filter ! But I use the three Clear Source filters and use the On The Go water softener when out west . But it is heavy. So I have been debating on changing to one of these.
What about the table salt in the water softener and you are drinking that water. Are you getting any of that salt in the drinking water? If so the sodium would not be go for someone with high blood pressure. I’m not sure how that works but was thinking about the salt.
Thanks for this suggestion! We travel full time in a fifth wheel with 2 Labs and have to refill the Berkey a few times per day. This should eliminate that chore plus save counter space! Bought the MR3 Premium Bundle and your discount covered most of the South Dakota sales tax! Enjoying you guys on RV Unplugged competition too!!
We're using Clear20 brand 20 & 2 micron filters. Of course we do not drink tank or campground water: We carry jugs of Reverse Osmosis filtered water for drinking. I've considered getting a Berkey filter for occasions where we might run out of RO water, but haven't sprung for one yet.
We are using the Clearsource ultra. It has a 5 micron, 0.5 micron and a virus guard which is effective 0.02 micron. We found this because the blue wasn’t available at the time. The Clearsource is bigger and heavier and I’m ok with that cause I permanently mounted in my 5th wheel basement. I did however order the stainless steel hoses
I use clear source, filters down to .05 microns, I also have a water pressure at the inlet of the, when my pressure starts to drop after going through the filters, I know it is time to change my filters.
Flow thru the filter is based on incoming pressure and surface area of filter and micron size removal. I reached out to blu tech and mobile must have this is their reply From Blu Tech: In our lab tests, we see around 2.4-2.6 GPM of flow 60 PSI head pressure with our full bundle system, meaning all the hoses, the filters, and water softener. We generally see about a 10% drop in pressure through filters from the source flow rate. For a typical household/RV 1.6-2.0 GPM is a good water pressure, which is restricted down to that by the plumbing system itself. We optimized our system for city inlets, so we do have a lower flow rate than some competitors for freshwater filling. The flow rate will be higher than this when using our filtration systems with garden hoses. It is for city water, well water, or other pressurized sources. With a standard 3/4" Garden hose attached the system would flow 5.5 GPM at 60 PSI.
@@dondevers they don’t show the one I used. A.O. Smith single stage 4 gpm whole house water filtration sym. $24.48. Used 3 like this Two 3/4 inch brass nipples to connect the filter housing. Two 3/4 pipe to garden hose adapter One double female garden hose to hose adapter Then 10 micron filter. A 5micron filter with carbon. A .5 micron filter with carbon.
We were looking at this at the rally but we needed the internet bundle through them. We will be interested in your findings. We are using what came with our coach but getting to switch to the .5 micron with cocoanut filters.
I understand this is a incoming water filter, sounds great. Are you going to by-pass the whole house filter you have now ? Because this will not filter the fresh water tank. Both tank and city water goes through the whole house filter, or am I mistaken? Please advise if this is no5 correct, This would be a great pre filter for the whole house.
How has Blue technology worked out for you? Have you sent your water that went thru the system out for testing. How often do you change the filters. Granted doing RV life water will be different from place to place. Thanx for the help
So far it has worked as advertised. We are going to check our filters once we leave Canada. We have not changed them yet. I have checked the softener and it is still good from the initial install. I have not had to regenerate it.
We also have a 33AA, I’ll be interested in seeing how you mount it inside. We currently use an on the go softener and 5, 0.5 micron filters All sitting outside of our coach
10:21 Oh, I thought the filters would be from your fresh water tank to your inside faucets. Do you have filters from your tank to your faucets? Do you add any bleach to your fresh water tank at any time/periodically?
No filters from the tank in. It is all filtered prior to going in the tank. We do sanitize the tank every 6 months. As full timers, the water doesn't sit n there long before being refilled.
Do you still install a filter in your refrigerator, too? I think mine is 1-micron, though it is hard to find that spec for fridge filters. For now, we are sticking with just a fridge filter to filter the water we drink.
I have the clear source unit it seems to be working. OK however I’ve had problems with the fittings leaking especially around the second filter. I think it’s cracked. Don’t like plastic at all. Can’t wait to hear. How are yours holds up thanks.
My bride and I are new to RVing. We just bought a class A Winnebago. We don't know much about the filtration system other than it is attached in the basement of the bus. Can this system be permanently mounted in the basement or does it need to be operated outside? Also, do you fill your bus with filtered water or is it just run to the drinking spout? We enjoy the videos as you are folks we can relate to as a retired military family (GO ARMY). Thank you
Have you had a chance to see what difference it makes on the total dissolved solids (TDS)? If say you have 300 going into the system does it reduce the number significantly or at all. I have been looking for a system that will reduce it short of going with a RO system. Thanks in advance
I’ll keep our clear source and on the go softener. And everything is on quick disconnect and mounted so only have to make on connection at the water source. Oh and at 1/2 the price
We ordered today the bundle; however, we do not know when we will get it because they are already on backorder. We should have ordered instantly after watching your video. Thanks for the 5% discount.
Quick question guys; what do you do with your built-in filter in the wet bay? Leave it empty or use a fourth filter of some kind? Keep the great videos coming.
Soooo if im boondocking i could use this system to fill my RV water tank and jerry cans??? I am bran new to RVs and just bought a small motor home used and it was in storage and am thinking I will not want to drink water from the water storage tank just use that water for dishes and shower and drink from jerry cans until I can find someone to assure me how to properly clean the water tank As for me this is useful information Thank you
Guess I will have to do some research, cause we are just using the filtration system that came on our Alfa motorhome, for showering, cooking, etc. We drink bottled water.
Why the filter before the softener? I prefer to keep filter stack in the RV so it doesn’t freeze but that means the softener comes before the filters. Also, like to keep my pressure regulator inside as well because how do you keep it from freezing outside? I get “go somewhere warmer” but we don’t have that option.
We have the cheap filters but bring drinking water with us. Then we put THAT through the Brita pitcher cause that goes in the fridge. Dogs just get the water out of the big jugs. It would be much easier to just use “tap” water!
Hi Phil and Stacy, Very interesting setup with BLU. During this video my wife Lori noticed the digital picture frame with changing photos. Could you please tell us the make and where you purchased it? Thanks in advance Mike and Lori
You mention your concern with plastic but isn't your water tank plastic? Also, water going into your tank is filtered with the BLU but how clean is the holding tank? Aren't you recontaminating the filtered water by putting it in your tank?.
Not a visual way to tell, unless you are checking the filter and notice it has stuff in it. You will probably notice the taste isn't the same as it was when you first connected the system.
I considered mounting my filter system inside my rig, but with changing out the filters I figured getting water all over the bay would be nearly unavoidable so I keep it outside. How do you keep from making a mess while changing filters?
We love it! No issues. I did swap out the filters because we had bad water (boil policy). Mobile Must have came out and said that more info was done on the filters and we were to switch the middle (tasty) and last one (.02 micron) around. Makes sense now that I look at it.
Thanks again for another quality, informative video. The question I have is doesn't the the "TASTY" granulated charcoal filter compact from the pressure of the water flow and thus allow the water to flow through virtually unfiltered in this phase? Is there a solid charcoal filter option? Thank you both for your service!
Have you thought of including a UV light along with your filtration system. The UV light kills any remaining bacteria or viruses that the filters don't catch.
Since we're not full time, how do those filters stand up full of water in a hot camper for a couple of weeks between trips? Any worry of gross things growing in there?
I would empty them out and let the filters air out inside the rig. Don't forget to empty the water softener as well. We have done this on the few occasions we have left the rig for a few weeks.
Great video guys !! We use the clearsource ultra, 3 stage filter but man I wish this would have been out 3 years ago when we bought that. This would be the perfect height for mounting in our water bay. I currently have our system on its side because it's just too tall to stand up. Might be time for an upgrade... Thanks
I just found your videos. Y'all are alot of fun to watch. I have a stupid question. Wouldn't it be better to put the water softener before the filter system? That way it takes out the minerals and such and the filtration system has less to filter out. Maybe making the filters last longer. Believe me I'm am not mechanically inclined so if this is dumb just say so. It won't hurt my feelings. Lol
Would you only use this system if your using the water for drinking. If your only using incoming water for dishes, flushing toilets ands showering why would you need this type of filtration ?
Yes, we would. We have had a filtration system of some kind since hitting the road. water is a must for us. We drink it, make ice with it, cook with it, shower in it, etc. Not to mention the softener keeps the plumbing pipes free of calcium and other junk.
I think my solution is much better----beer! Looks like a good system but I think there is a missing piece and every video that I have watched including some from the Blue team and the Red team missed it. As the great one said{Ronald Reagan) trust but verify. Send a before and after sample out to a lab to be tested. No one that I have seen has done that. Also test after a couple of months to see any changes. Don't get me wrong I do think these systems work but I would have to see the data as I want to know. Love your stuff and Go Navy!
We use a ZeroWater pitcher for our drinking water. Removes 99.6 total dissolved solids.
Comes with a TDS meter.
I don’t think it does pesticides though does it?

When you were in the Navy, what did you filter the sea water down to before you gave it to the crew to drink and to use in cooking. These kinds of things can become a numbers game taking things beyond reasonable and prudent. I don't want to invest is a 0,02 micron filter if a 0.1 is all that makes sense. The Navy has probably determined what level of filtration makes sense!!
We got the same system back during their Black Friday sale. We love it.
Love a good sale. I know we get a 5% discount because of Today is Someday. Wondering if we can get a better discount for being a veteran.
So just checked, no military or veteran discount. I may send them an email asking for one. Also, the 5% is still good.
@@RickC77 Blu tech does give a 7% discount for vets. I just got it yesterday.
Great Video! Its about that time to do that review on how its going with the system!! Looking forward to see that video before ordering. Thanks
We use Clear 2O and have a two filter system. Pre stage is 5 micron and second filter is less than 1 micron. Been very pleased with Clear 2O.
Looks like a clean system. Only issue could be your plastic holding tank.
and plastic lines in MH
Do it!!! You won’t regret it!
What about the table salt in the water softener and you are drinking that water. Are you getting any of that salt in the drinking water? If so the sodium would not be go for someone with high blood pressure. I’m not sure how that works but was thinking about the salt.
One more video proving you guys are top notch! Thanks!
Wow, thanks!
We are ordering ours tomorrow, since today is Sunday!!! Thanks for the discount!!!!
Thanks! We have it installed in the rig now....stay tuned for the video.
Thanks for all the usual information. Hope to meet you guys on the road. Thomyt
I just purchased this at the Escapees rally in Tuscon this March. Love it.
I use clear source, filters down to .05 microns, I also have a water pressure at the inlet of the, when my pressure starts to drop after going through the filters, I know it is time to change my filters.
Thank you as always for the great video and information! We hope to see you on the road someday 😊💕 You both have inspired us to join the RV life!
Built my own Rv filter system from Lowe’s and filter down to .5 microns. It cost about $50 to do.
Do you have a list what to buy?
@@dondevers they don’t show the one I used. A.O. Smith single stage 4 gpm whole house water filtration sym. $24.48. Used 3 like this
Two 3/4 inch brass nipples to connect the filter housing.
Two 3/4 pipe to garden hose adapter
One double female garden hose to hose adapter
Then 10 micron filter. A 5micron filter with carbon. A .5 micron filter with carbon.
Thank you Anthony!
Just the filters are more than $50, I went by your list and the total $175.00
Awesome information! I really enjoy your videos… keep up the good work. Lisa ( Wingman’s wife) 😊
We were looking at this at the rally but we needed the internet bundle through them. We will be interested in your findings. We are using what came with our coach but getting to switch to the .5 micron with cocoanut filters.
Bought one and it's great. Much better than every other unit we've tried.
I understand this is a incoming water filter, sounds great.
Are you going to by-pass the whole house filter you have now ?
Because this will not filter the fresh water tank.
Both tank and city water goes through the whole house filter, or am I mistaken?
Please advise if this is no5 correct,
This would be a great pre filter for the whole house.
No our fridge does not have a filter. We do not have drinking water in our fridge.
So do you guys drink the water from your faucets then in the rig?
Hi, I am new to the RV world. I currently use Zero Water 5 stage for my drinking. Is this product similar?
I have the clear source unit it seems to be working. OK however I’ve had problems with the fittings leaking especially around the second filter. I think it’s cracked. Don’t like plastic at all. Can’t wait to hear. How are yours holds up thanks.
Kinda why we went looking for another set up. Our old system cracked on us 4 times!
Just purchased this system at the Tampa RV show. So far so good!
Great to hear!
Thanks for the awesome video! I love this system! Mobile Must Have is great!
All you need now is a pump to refill while lake or riverside. Any recommendations?
Happy Easter! Thanks for the info.
I’ll keep our clear source and on the go softener. And everything is on quick disconnect and mounted so only have to make on connection at the water source.
Oh and at 1/2 the price
Glad you found one that works for you.
Do you still use the water filter mounted in the water bay or just leave it empty?
Do you still get the minerals you need using the softener and water system?
Yes. It filters out the bad stuff.
We ordered today the bundle; however, we do not know when we will get it because they are already on backorder. We should have ordered instantly after watching your video. Thanks for the 5% discount.
Hopefully, they get restocked soon!
Quick question guys; what do you do with your built-in filter in the wet bay? Leave it empty or use a fourth filter of some kind?
Keep the great videos coming.
The plan is to bypass it altogether. I just need to get to a place where I have the time to do it. Stay tuned.
Just purchased our MR3 using your discount code. Tyvm

Sweet! We love ours!!! Hand Salute! Go Navy!
Do you leave the filter and water softener on the ground and what do you do when it gets below freezing?
No. It is installed inside the rig. When it freezes outside, we disconnect everything and put it inside. Our rear furnace heats our wet bay.
Super video! Do you drink the "softened water?" or Do you have an RO filter under you sink?
Soooo if im boondocking i could use this system to fill my RV water tank and jerry cans???
I am bran new to RVs and just bought a small motor home used and it was in storage and am thinking I will not want to drink water from the water storage tank just use that water for dishes and shower and drink from jerry cans until I can find someone to assure me how to properly clean the water tank
As for me this is useful information
Thank you
We always fill our water tank through the filters. You can also fill your cans the same way.
@@todayissomeday ok thank you!!
What is your current code to save on the complete system?
How does it hook up to your internal water tank when boondocking or is that necessary?
We would fill the fresh tank and use our water pump. The system would have been used in pre filling the tank.
Guess I will have to do some research, cause we are just using the filtration system that came on our Alfa motorhome, for showering, cooking, etc. We drink bottled water.
is the water softener 10,000 grains or 16,000 grains?
Darn! i just bought The Clear Source system! And just embarking on a 4 month trip!
Update on the water filter system? I couldn’t find it in your videos
Can you drink the water after you “soften it ? Does it taste ok??
Why the filter before the softener? I prefer to keep filter stack in the RV so it doesn’t freeze but that means the softener comes before the filters. Also, like to keep my pressure regulator inside as well because how do you keep it from freezing outside? I get “go somewhere warmer” but we don’t have that option.
We have the cheap filters but bring drinking water with us. Then we put THAT through the Brita pitcher cause that goes in the fridge. Dogs just get the water out of the big jugs. It would be much easier to just use “tap” water!
Where did you get those hose connectors. I've got the brass ones but they don't look as nice as the ones you have
Here ya go: www.mobilemusthave.com/?AffId=56
I love the pattern on your windows
We’ve been using this for a couple months now and just finished filming our video…I was hoping to get ours out before all the big channels did 😂😂
Hi Phil and Stacy,
Very interesting setup with BLU.
During this video my wife Lori noticed the digital picture frame with changing photos. Could you please tell us the make and where you purchased it?
Thanks in advance
Mike and Lori
You mention your concern with plastic but isn't your water tank plastic? Also, water going into your tank is filtered with the BLU but how clean is the holding tank? Aren't you recontaminating the filtered water by putting it in your tank?.
That looks great! Is there a way to tell when the filters need replacing?
Not a visual way to tell, unless you are checking the filter and notice it has stuff in it. You will probably notice the taste isn't the same as it was when you first connected the system.
I considered mounting my filter system inside my rig, but with changing out the filters I figured getting water all over the bay would be nearly unavoidable so I keep it outside. How do you keep from making a mess while changing filters?
We haven't mounted it inside yet. Working on it now.
@@todayissomeday Love to see how that goes! I'm interested mounting it such that it can be used as I fill the RV's water tank for boondocking
Has there been any update on this filtration system?
We love it!
Not that I know of. We will report back when we have to replace them and how soon we had to do it.
What is the name of that water filter would like to get one for myself
Have you thought of including a UV light along with your filtration system. The UV light kills any remaining bacteria or viruses that the filters don't catch.
Super cool system. Are you ever worried about theft?
No. We plan to install it inside the RV. Stay tuned.
How is this for rust? The water at our lake lot is so bad that it clogged our Brita pitcher filter in less than one use.
Yikes!!
Looks like a great system, i am worried about the system attracting thieves ????
What is the cost of replacement filters
Do you still use a Berkey for drinking water?
We never used a Berkey.
@@todayissomeday OK, thank you. So you drink right out of the tap?
Great video guys !! We use the clearsource ultra, 3 stage filter but man I wish this would have been out 3 years ago when we bought that. This would be the perfect height for mounting in our water bay. I currently have our system on its side because it's just too tall to stand up. Might be time for an upgrade... Thanks
Blu technology is not an upgrade from a Clearsource Virusguard Ultra. Blu tech is 0.2 microns, Virusguard is 0.02 microns. Massive difference.
Does it filter out arsenic like my Berkey?
