If Randy wife Rose and their friends were in Newfoundland first they had to have taken a ferry from Nova Scotia to get there. Too bad they visited in winter would have enjoyed it so much more during the summer months.

I don’t know how I missed emergency back in the day but I’m watching now and enjoying it. The show and actors were great.

Yes, our winters are colder, especially since we're on the Atlantic. Summer is humid. Best time to visit Nova Scotia is in the Fall.
