Remonter l'intérieur d'une SM est presque aussi long que la partie mécanique. J'ai monté les revêtements de la console centrale, tableau de bord en neuf. J'avais fait reproduire ces pièces très complexes, il ne m'en reste plus. Mais la finition est superbe avec ces enjoliveurs neufs. Je soigne les détails jusqu'aux boutons de lève-vitres, qu'on ne trouve plus en neuf. Alors on pose des étiquettes pour donner un aspect authentique. L'intérieur est presque fini. Bientôt, la SM va repartir en carrosserie pour la peinture finale.
Reassembling the interior of an SM is almost as long as the mechanical part. I fitted the central console covers, new dashboard. I had these very complex pieces reproduced, I don't have any left. But the finish is superb with these new hubcaps. I pay attention to the details, down to the window buttons, which are no longer found new. So we put labels on to give an authentic appearance. The interior is almost finished. Soon, the SM will go back to bodywork for final painting.

Very nicely done although it's ironic that in the country known for clock making the clock doesn't work. I'm sure you will get it sorted before you hand the car over to it's owner. Your attention to detail won't allow you to leave it as it is.

The Renault 19 electric clockwork does quite well as replacement for the old SM clockwork. You can fit it invisibly into the SM clock metal box.

J'ai longtemps hésité à en faire la remarque, tant les vidéos sont passionantes et bien faites (même pour un conducteur de Panhard...). Mais les sous-titres en anglais sont désastreuses.. 😲
