Damn that's a shit tonne of factory wire down the sils. Vw are good at leaving room for extra cables always were even in the mk4 it was nothing to get dual 0 gauge ground and power up to the boot. Sounds mint. And I love dire straits. Looks gorgeous, have never understood ways in cars considering some of most popular audiophile speakers at two way only and some even uses compression drivers or horns etc. Still sexy looking can't deny it and sounds great.
fantastic installation as always. I have a question about the micro precision 7 series tweeters would it be a upgrade over the morel piccolo tweeters ? thanks.
Nice build and nice sound.!. Is the Helix V8 sufficient for the Helix K10 slim sub box for normal (sq) use (not competition level) ? How many amp channels of the V8 did you use for the Helix sub box?
Could have pulled the most from MIB3 unit they still do use it and the thing is optical lines are there even if cable isn't installed. Then Nav TV Zen V. You did a nice job just my OCD screaming at me cos speaker line inputs makes me feel ill 😂
What would it cost. To build my caddy mk5 Drie way active with soundpillars. 1 soundstream reference for subs 6,5 inch Dls ultimate midbass and tweeters Steg 7 cm mid Mosconi for the highs and mids Kicker for de midbass Audison bit one. 🙏 I have everything. Only interested in the cost of build. And if it’s worth to drive to the uk from the Netherlands. Greetings.
Hi Lee. Nice build. Did you find the car had a centre speaker in as factory? My 2022 Octavia does, despite it being a basic 8 speaker system - the same as the Golf. If so, any advice on what to do with it, as I'm told disconnecting it throws an error as it is used for audible warnings etc.
Hi Lee. I'm interested in your aiming. Are the drivers side a pillar drivers aimed and the passenger head rest and are the passenger a pillar drivers aimed at the drivers headrest ? Would love to get some of those mids and tweeters in South Africa.
I did LDAC in mk7 R. Reciever was an earstudio with balanced output into JL amp. JL amp has a controller with volume/bassknob. LDAC blutooth from both phone and a Sony Walkman (no distractions) and 128GB of flac and high res. Does LDAC has a quality loss? yes but very very very small. You need zero road noise, zero engine noise, audiophile tracks and everthing else optimised first.
These sound incredible
Sounds so sweet as always.
Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it

Wow Lee, nice content🍰🎶

If nothing else, just for the info thats available to set up the dsp!

both great tweeters but sound different, I prefer the extra detail and air from the MP
Really nice work!!

Nice pillars. Did you block the a pillard window with baffle or something to block backwaves?
yes we put egg crate foam in there

Hi Lee,
Can the MP 5.8 grill be bought separately?
I bought a set, but not installed as wanted a grill to protect it.
yes it can
Housecurve ?
Why not make the sub fit under the floor like the Audison?
because he has a full size spare
I'm sure it sounds a lot better than oem but thinking SQ & bluetooth go together makes me cringe (unless it has LDAC the difference is night and day)
well we won the EMMA euro finals using BT
That's nonsense these days with BT 5 and above
@@nickmandlebergwhat do you base that assumption on? Bluetooth can not handle high res.
