Hello everyone and welcome to Age of Wonders: 4's second DLC Empires & Ashes! Drazhoath the Exalted will taking on the challenge of my first playthrough in this new DLC and its accompanying Golem Update. For the intros, I go over the new Pantheon traits starting at 0:24, begin the construction of a new realm at 2:04, begin the creation of Hashut's invading forces at 6:59, and finally begin the campaign at 17:28. Drazhoath's expert scouting skills has already revealed all 8 would-be conquerors of the Seals, allowing Hashut's Chaotic Influence to begin spreading through the realm. War will soon engulf this Pangea of Life, the Seals will soon be more valuable than gold, and blood shall soon flow in Hashut's name -- thanks for watching!
Now that you have met everyone can you trade away their contact info to other leaders? That was a good way to get a nice stack of materials in Planetfall but I’m not sure about this game.
@@barrym2112 You can, and I do so in the next episode! There are some weird restrictions that complicates it, but it can be a nice source of early supplementary gold.
They definitely need to patch the Dragoons being clean shaven. There’s nothing worse, nor uglier, than a beardless Dawi.
Drazhoath may be the top Grudge in the Book of Grudges, but even he agrees that beardless Dragoons is a grudgin'.

as a skaven lover - especially Clan Skryre - myself I am rather sad that in the orignal game there are no culture can use guns. this DLC is an instant buy. Excellent video!

My favourite bug I've encountered since the new patch was my units turning into empty suits of armour during a fight an continuing on the world map. Unfortunately, I can't replicate it and it self corrected next time I loaded into a battle. That kind of bug always tickles me.
Hah, I've been a big fan of seeing things in the floor. I always enjoy these graphical glitches... as long as they don't break the game. >_
@@Fableheim sometimes funny graphical glitches shouldn't be patched. I still miss the t-posing mounted heroes fom warhammer 2, it felt like my army was rehearsing for the circus.

Unpaid Interns is a meme and a unit renaming mod for Total War Warhammer 3, it's because CA did call Orks and Goblins in Chaos Dwarf faction as Laborers, instead of Slaves

30:05 The progenitor golem I got around turn 15 by clearing new infestation and having call of chaos that gives you random unit from the infestation you defeat. So you can gamble like that

Given the increase in price of DLCs in War Hammer 3 people might actually start just role playing as the new leader in Age of Wonder rather than getting the DLC

I don't think they're supposed to be able to, but it's possible that they changed it from their initial showcase. If it's intentional, I'm happy that they can declare friendship.

I love this game so much but i wish they would put some effort into the crossplay issues with AI empires basically making the game unplayable with friends

I think it's definitely slotted for a future nerf, but they'll probably let the Reavers have their fun for awhile.

His actual title is "the Ashen", yes. This Drazhoath story takes place after the events of the Total War: Warhammer 3 campaign when he acquires the Blood of Hashut and becomes the undisputed ruler of Zharr-Naggrund, so he needed a new title. (:

Your accuracy on Dragon age was a bit off. The dragon gods were created by the old elven gods and contains a sliver of their soul. This results in Fen'Harel at rhe end having 3 different elven god souls, ready to reclaim his power as a god. The tevinter worship dragons for piwer, and created the darkspawn after defiling the golden city. The elven empire fell ages past, when Fen' Harel created the veil and shattered reality, because the Fade and the workd used to be one thing. He did that to free his oppressed people, and did not want to be worshipped. In the end, all the elven gods were just uber powerful mages
I feel like incomplete is a more accurate description, but thanks for filling in the blanks! As far as we know, the dragon "gods" remain hidden or sealed somewhere, right? Or are the remaining 2 or 3 (depending on if what's his face's dragon was one of them) gone?
Are your mods only cosmetic? If not then theres no point in watching as im on console...
All but one of my mods are cosmetic. The Expanded Cultural Units mod adds 4 or so extra units to each of the base game Cultures including a Tier 4 cultural unit. It's not updated for the Reavers and may or may not be the source of some bugs, but the AI is using them extensively. If that's not enough, feel free to watch something else.

Of all my 9.5 AOW4 playthroughs, Drazhoath is the first playthrough from the Warhammer universe.
9:00 Hair colour being different in faction creation is because, before you customize the appearance of your race, hair is randomized, race customization mod adds some bright colours that are displayed
I've never seen them randomize individually, but it would be pretty cool if you could pick how each unit looked. The customization screen might get a little out of hand with that though. XD
weird visual bugs with your heroes and mounted units are caused by the mods.
Expanded Cultural Units, causes mounts to go underground
Of all the mods I'm using, it would be the one that has no effect on my faction...
Ah well, at least it hasn't caused any serious problems.
