Thank you for the drive review. I saw part 1 of this video a couple of days ago. Two great videos, and your reviews helped me very much in choosing this car as my next lease. BTW, I gave you a like, and I subscribed. Keep up the great work.
This is the best review for the Buick Envista from my point of view. Because all other reviews I watched trying to compare this car with Camaros and high performance once. Thank you.
Warranty is the same per Buick. 3/36K bumper and 5/60K powertrain. Only difference I see is Buick gives owner 1 oil change/tire rotation within 1yr/12K of ownership. I guess one free oil change is a luxury experience? 😁
You can get the same suspension in the Preferred. Just click the Buick Experience package, it has the Watts link suspension, 18" wheels over the 17's and a Sunroof. The advantage is you'll have a bit smoother ride with the 18's over the 19's in the ST trim w/same suspension. The blue one in your video had that option. Too bad you didn't drive that one. $2K less than ST trim.
Hoping 2025 will bring the 1.3L as an option or a naturally aspirated larger GM/S.Korea Daewoo 4 cyl. engine. Thanks for a honest review of the new Envista.
Gm Jeff. Excellent review. Envista looks like a Winner. 1.2 engine paired w the 6 speed automatic works for me over the CVT, on its larger cousin the Encore GX. Like Buicks extension of the warranty. My choice is the Preferred trim. Curious to see if Buick extends the warranty coverage in the USA 🇺🇸??
Ugh im between Trax 2rs and Envista St... Such a tough call to make. Trax comes in 2 weeks in yellow colour. Should i wait for 2 more months for an envista?
Lol that was my same dilemma for several weeks.. I love the trax 2rs, and one is available now nearby in that beautiful yellow.. but I also love the looks of the envista st, especially the copper color and the red ones. I decided in the end to wait for the buick since I think it wins out on looks at the front and also with its fastback design, and sleeker taillights. I currently drive an elantra sedan, so the buick with its smaller cargo space versus the trax doesn't bother me. Last benefit of the envista might be a bit higher interior finish quality.. I'd rather pay a bit more and have softer touch materials in some areas. So I'll be ordering an envista. But if they tell me it'll be a 5 or 6 month wait for my specific build and color, I'll gladly buy the yellow trax 2rs instead.
@@MK-fc2hn hahah I'm not alone :) I agree with those points you listed, that's why I am going with Envista as well. I found one incoming in grey, st trim with sunroof, exactly what I want! They say October but it might very well be December... I put a deposit but I haven't seen it yet, so if I wanted to go with Trax, I will wait another couple months. So I decided to go with the Trax and see envista to make my final decision. If I choose envista I can sell the Trax super easy, with max 1000 miles on it. without losing money since the demand is really high, people cannot find it... I thought this would be the safest option
If it holds up, they will sell. A grocery getter, good commuter vehicle. The price, style, and mileage very good. If I bought one, I’d want a better warranty. Also, what is the crash test results! Is this the future smaller engines?
Do you think the Envista is worth the extra $$ over the Trax ? I got my Calgary dealer to order a 1RS Trax With Sunroof & a ST Envista with the watts suspension & 19" & Sunroof . Is the Buick worth $5000 more?
I think you are wrong on the warranty. Buick USED TO have a 4 year warranty, but they dropped that down to 3 years bumper-to-bumper a few years ago. With Buick, you are now getting the same warranty as the entry level brands in the domestics.
can i run this car on San Fransico's hills with 4 adults and all of them are over 300 pounds ? because engine is weak and i dont think it can handle it , this car looks like for skinny folks
Is this some kind of joke? Who in their right mind would purchase this Buick Envista with a 3 cylinder,1.2L turbo charged engine that will most likely have a catastrophic engine failure just after the warranty expires. It should be called a Buick Investa where you have keep investing your money to make last for 5 years.
Someone intelligent who knows about engeniring! This is powerful its a Turbo. GM engeneers are very mart. Go back and keep driving your Japanese and stop hating😅
Commutes and driving speeds in North America are different than in Europe and this vehicle is also much heavier than the typical 1.2 liter vehicles used in Europe. @@lestat8656
You're kidding yourself if you think a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder engine pushing a vehicle as heavy as this on North American highways will stand up. This was engineered and manufactured in South Korea based on cost alone, not for quality or long life.@@sublimegreen

SOOOOOO glad u talked suspension. that’s he only reason why I came here. I wanna know what Buick did to the suspension and NVH VS trax.

Great review
i like my buick envista

Thanks for your review. does any version come with the rearview mirror camera? or can you get it in a add on package?
nice!

Envista is actually larger than the Encore.
The warranty extension isn't in the USA.
Nice car
So happy I can buy a Urus for $20k 🙌🏼
Jeff you said Buicks warranty on the '24 is Bmpr to Bmpr 4yrs 50k and Pwrtrn 6 yrs 70k. The warranty hasn't been that in the US since 2019
Awesome Job GM just like the Trax once they get to the lot they will be gone😊
Limited slip differential in this FWD ride would be a plus.
Can it be LS Swapped or Tuned, swapped turbo 6 or 8 take our money 😆🔥👌🏽
We just purchased a 2024 envista ST and it only has a 3yr bumper to bumper.

1.2 L 3 cylinder?! Is a no no. BTw the car looks is awesome!
Have they officially announced the warranty going back up to 4 year bumper to bumper and 6 year Powertrain?
Not that I am aware of. He must not be aware of Buick reducing their warranty in 2021 to same as Chevy.
@@brocklanders6969 I was thinking that or it's different in Canada.

Hahah I am in Calgary as well. Ordered Trax 2rs and asking the same question if I should wait more for Buick...
I would have liked to see a review of the preferred. I dislike black rims. The preferred has all i need. i also prefer the 17 inch rims
Is the engine going to hold though? 3 cylinder engine just scares me 😳
This Ecotech powerplantvhas been proben to be fantastic.

Logo on front looks from certain angle like "666" 👀
Can you flat toe the Buick inVista?
Where is your Envista Avenir video;/ Did I miss it/
In the US less than 15% of cars are under 30,000.

Jeff- You might get more followers if you answer our questions !
Wife asking me why they have the post like manual door locks? I don't know :).. Anyone else?
I really like this vehicle but the 1.2L doesn’t grow on me. I prefer buying a used Lacrosse than this.
When they get to the lot....its sold😢
Sorry but the info you give is wrong. I double checked on official Canadian websites and Buick and Chevy has identical warranties!
Front seats very narrow.
137 horsepower! Oh yeah! My Miata has more than that and it's 29 years old! Hahahahahaha! What a joke!

They have been using smaller engines in Europe for decades. 3 cylinder in 2023 is a different story than what you have in mind
1.2 Turbo is more than enough power! Engeeneers know what there doing.
