This is a good video. Remember if you have stores on your plane. IE sidewinders, Amraams. You do not raise the wings until you are out of landing zone. Catch 3 wire. MIL power for 3 seconds. Idle. Lights off, hook up. Flaps up. NWS high, full right rudder 71% RPM. Watch your director. When out of zone, brakes on, hands up on the canopy. The red shirts will approach the aircraft and Pin all ordnance. Hands down, wings up. Follow director to parking spot. Parking brake on, full shut down.
Very nice man 👏 This seems to be from someone who has experienced this. It's a unique comment 💪🙂. A lot of details. Many thanks for sharing. Appreciated! 🍻😎
perfect video, thank you very much, thanks to you I can now land. I want to ask which key you used to stop the flight and continue clicking in the cockpit. If it can be set, where and under what function. Thanks in advance
Hey Dave. How are you? Thank you sr 🍻 I think so. I don't know if the time difference will be a problem (I'm from Brazil, Zulu time -3), but I will be happy if I could help you. My english isn't the best, but I think I can talk and help you. Anything specific or would you like to see the landing live and ask any questions?
@@nazguldcs Hi Naz Thanks for your reply . That would be great if you could show me how to do a basic mission in the f18 . I can start takeoff and land but I don’t know anything about the weapons . I’m an aircraft engineer and light aircraft pilot 😀 Would you be free on Sunday some time ? Thanks Dave from Scotland
A tactical air navigation system - TACAN - is a navigation system initially designed for naval aircraft to acquire moving landing platforms (i.e., ships) and later expanded for use by other military aircraft. 🍻
I've never heard of the Triple Nickel Approach before, I was taught by JAR's training videos to be at 800ft and 350knts, then break 1.5 to 2 miles in front of the cv. I'll have to give this a try, thanks. th-cam.com/video/4t-GGqEj1IY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FA-mow9vLpNHr7fW
When I flew with a group of people years ago in DCS, some were irl training in a Carrier.. This is what they had for us Virtual Pilots remember in CASE I recovery. 800’ 350knots overhead pass, activate airbrake and landing gear with 2 or 2.5Gs pull. When your speed is at 250, flaps down, board retract. 180° BRC and abeam is 1-1.3 miles 600 at downwind leg’, start turning when abeam LSO platform, 480’-500’ base leg (90°), 370’-400’ at 45°. You should be in the groove when you are 15-18seconds. Pitch for speed, throttle for altitude. Do not flair right before touch down. This is very difficult to accomplish but, if you follow these requirements, your LSO grade will be in the range between an OK pass to a perfect pass. When I was just doing recovery on my own without the numbers, it was easy until I joined a CVW lol. Had to pass Undergrad, Initial and transition CQs (although there was no t45-f18 transitioning happened). But, this is just a simulator so take my opinion/experience as a grain of salt. I have just been back to flying and doing some case 1 recovery because I love the challenge.
@@frankferrara8435 I could be wrong but I believe there is OK underline that means perfect pass. I heard some aviators who even had 100s of carrier recovery but have never received this grade from LSO

When the aircraft flies over the tail of the carrier, it suddenly sinks. This issue has troubled me for a long time. How can I fix it?
Whats up man. Are you talking about what happens at 12:42? This happens due to "wake turbulence". You can disable it in "gameplay", in Options. 🍻😉
Stunning skills. Stunning video
Thanks my friend! Many thanks 🍻😎
i have never seen the LSO give a grade over B
Grade C it's almost a crash 😅. I think that LSO's are hard guys kkkkkk
what the hell is Tay Can?

AI voice? No wonder it pronounces everything wrong.
You say this because you haven't heard me speak English yet. If you heard me, you would say, "go back to using AI" 😂
