hi. Thanks for all these videos, it really helps. Now that the new iPad pros no longer have a wide-angle camera, do you still recommend an iPad pro? Or do you feel that an iPad air or Mini would be just as good? and would you use a clip-on wide angle lens? Thanks for your thoughts!
At the moment, I am not sure. I may be the adjuster that always buys a 2020 or 2021 iPad Pro lol I have not tried the new iPad yet nor have I tried the wide angle attachment which I feel would be the solution. If it were me, I’d buy them 2021 iPad Pro 11 inch and call it a day. Im still riding with my 2020 iPad Pro 11 inch. Still works great!!
I’m new to world of IA work and really love your videos and want to invest in an IPad for xact mobile. But after seeing the above comment I’m not sure which model and what capacity will work best for writing estimate and taking photos. I was thinking about the new I pad pros because of the nano texture glass to reduce glare. What capacity do you think works best for this line of work?
Even with the wide angle camera in my iPhone 16 pro the in-app in Xactimate camera only lets 1, not .5 wide. I drop the iPad after sketching and my chubby buttons go to my phone, which is on regular camera, Xactimate isn’t open on my phone. My phone is synced with my iPad Pro in apple photos. Then I grab the photos that synced up and put them in rooms
Thank you !! I use Xactimate Mobile on every inspections. Very helpful !!!
which disto are you currently using or reccomend?
@@MrRyan6244 x3 but I’m going up to the x4 (is discontinued now, but you can still find it for like five or 600 bucks)
