In modern times, power supplies are absolutely the MOST repurposable modules in electronics, and totally worth it to keep them together and sell them off whole units as opposed to scrapping them.

The backplane is not aluminium, it's a super thick many many layers circuit board with silver plating. Must cost something like 10.000 dollars or even more. The edges have silver plating too which makes the whole thing look like an aluminium plate.

That carcass as you call it, I'm pretty sure is a universal chassis, could be a good $600.00 or more if you are willing to do the homework to find a buyer. you may even be able to sell it back to the original distributor, there should be some labeling somewhere to help you along, also looking part#'s up on the internet can tell you a lot about what you have, I truly believe you could have a quick buck coming your way if you do the research, the money in scrap is negligible so it's worth a try, I have been lucky that way a few times, so give it a try, what do you have to lose!

Some crazy stuff going on. I'm not going to get into alot detail, now! My wife said to me last June to stop watching Ewaste Ben all the time and to stop my ewaste recycling or else! So she made me choose!!!
As you can see I'm still watching Ben and MY WIFE LEFT MY DAUGHTER AND I LAST OCTOBER!!! CRAZY BUT TRUE!!!
There's a little more to it than that but that was the main thing. She's got a new guy or guys. I feel kind of sad for those guys!!! More than 22 years with her. I was very shocked, because I thought it was the kind of thing that we'd talk about before she's just left! But I found after she's been gone how unhappy she was making me, to be around her! I know you probably could've gone without that today. But all is actually good, except the income she was bringing in, is gone and she hasn't sent a penny of child support!

When you say gigabit do you mean 10 gigabit? That first board the two ports on the right look like 10 gig ethernet or SFP. I would imagine all the other network ports on the unit will be normal gigabit.
But yes, the 10 gig ones will still be valuable as people are still upgrading to them from normal gigabit.
I don't think the second one you pulled out would be worth much however, and hard to sell because they are very specialised.

Also basically all small SMD can be processed together with MLCC.
also also, even the class 1 MLCC are made with base metals, noble metal MLCC's were made previous to like the mid 90's so while they look great and huge theyre probably almost worthless. yeah theyre gonna have Ag but not much if any Pd.

when I have trouble falling asleep I come here and watch one of your videos. No offense but seriously a scrapping video would be a lot more interesting if you didn't spend 15 FCKIN' MINUTES telling us about the 3 things you won't scrap. To the point please!
