It was finally his stop and he headed to the front. Before the driver opened the doors he whispered to the man "do not walk directly home" with a worried face. the man left the bus confused. he watched as the doors closed and the bus continued on its way. As the bus pulled away, he saw the woman was no longer there in the back. He didnt have to guess what she was. The man walked around and around different streets until he felt it was safe to go home... its been 11 years since my grandpa told about that night...
actually ghosts are heaving feast all year long except on 7/15th they come out to witness how miserable they once were and remember to cherish their food

We Indonesian-Chinese descendants also celebrate the Hungry Ghost Festival here. Many still avoid taboos told by our elders, including me.
