Yet another game show now. This is Small Talk, a fun game hosted by Ronnie Corbett. Can't entirely remember when it was recorded, probably August 1994. So whatever happened to Jason Taffs?
I'm one of the kids I'm Gemma will be thirty in march next year can't believe it seems another lifetime but I am so proud to have been a part of something so amazing :-)
Yes I was quite shy when I was younger even these days I’m not as verbal as I should be guess it never goes completely but you try to become more confident as you grow. Lisp is gone though lol
@@gstannard1988 I know what you mean, trust me. You were adorable anyway. I remember watching this as a kid. Must be weird watching yourself at that age. Your little cockney accent Hahahaha! Bless
This is an extremely rare example of a revived classic show being much better than the original. Child's Play was a good old teatime favourite, but this really pepped the game up and Ronnie Corbett was the perfect fit.
Aww thats fab! Did you and the other children ever meet up? Were you friends with people like Jason? I was friends with Jason ages back on facebook but he took me off
@@fraserkatie you look very cute back then on the show!💕😜 In your early days how were the children involved in Small Talk? What were the auditions like?
It's unfortunate for Joanne that, she was the only one out of the nine, who was entirely ignored (in that Maria, John or Clover never said her name, even *once*).
They shouldn't have played the South African version of this show on SABC ENCORE, because I used to watch it when I was 5 or 6 years old. #WindbackWednesday👍👍👍👍👍
Pontus Johansson. I was one of those kids and I guarantee we weren’t. But I never got to actually meet Ronnie. Not did I get a trophy just a jumper. Which I still have

used to watch this show on ZBC in Zimbabwe. loved it.. before the brits left they left us some great shows..this was one of them.
If there was one guy who presented Small Talk, I'm glad it was Ronnie.
And I can't believe he's only just died today.
I was friends with Jason ages ago, on facebook. Apparently he is an accountant or something and told me he still loved Doctor Who.

This show used to air on YTV here in Canada back in the mid 90s.
We had an American TV version of this. This is miles superior to what we got here.
This was me a child 😂 I am Katie

No,@@fraserkatie sorry
Can hardly believe that most of these kids will probably be pushing thirty soon.
They will be pushing 40 now.
Just sweet kids!😍
The children's definition of molars and comments on being romantic are priceless. Clover is so right on the mark, she knows her children
I remember Small Talk, it was like Kids Say The Darndest Things. There was a Kiwi version hosted by Jason Gunn.
Guys I'm 30 and I remember Martin so well. I'm shocked
Great video

0:48 wonderful laugh. Rip legend😢😢😢
I wish I'd been a contestant on this show when I was 6; the exact age when this was broadcast
JASON IS THE BEST
Can u upload more of these if u have them...They just bring back childhood memories. Thanx for uploading this episode...
I think this was end of series 1 around September 1994. Great Game Show.
Jason should have gone on to host his own tv show. now he is an adult
What was the episode where one of the questions was about who the us president is, and some kid answered "Clint Eastwood"?
I so remember this... only thing I wasn't keen on was the way Ronnie introduced himself.
Anyone know where we could find Episode 5?
A USversion produced by Grundy's company aired on the Family Channel cable channel from September 1996-January 1997.
There was a New Zealand version produced by TVNZ and aired on TV2 and was hosted by Jason Gunn and aired in 1997.
