Michael Barrymore is the king of TV; his interaction and understanding with children is fabulous . There is no show person on tv today that can match his professionalism. I thank all those who have made viewing these clips possible, sheer brilliance.
I never knew when this was what it was for as I was to young but now it's 2022 I do hope them kids are all grown up and live and will continue to live a good life. God bless them all xxx

I think being gay was going to be not such a bother in short time. The other...i don't think I can comment. After seeing these Christmas episodes were brilliant, but this one takes the prize. He was brilliant from this side of the pond all these decades later. We never had anyone as brilliant here in the states on tv, ever. Im enjoying all of them.

All the kids are so adorable and I really liked Louise's over the rainbow song , it was very sweet :) I think the runaway train song was cool and funny .......and I think it made Holly and Ashleigh laugh in hysterics !!

Agree. When the little lass starting singing I started tearing up lol. Mr Barrymore is such a good entertainer and so great with the kids. I wish this was still going (although, perhaps not, today’s kids are so different, most of them have been taught to be much more materialistic I’m afraid - and also less polite and respectful sadly).

Those 2 blind girls on the end were an Inspiration and the girl who sang over the rainbow was amazing and brought tears to my eyes and still are an inspiration they are grown up now not sure where they are now the girl with the dark hair was so funny and made me laugh and the audience laughed too what a character she is I am potentially facing going blind and I'm 40 next month I live with a rare eye condition which I was diagnosed with nearly 3 years ago but what lovely girls they are
I’m glad the blind girls had a little help. Many of the questions I think would have needed the ability to see to know the answers. Everything has to be described to them growing up and they have to correlate in their minds what it could possibly be. Well done.

(I’m 35 and Irish so, I was only a kid when this aired and in a different country so, whatever tragic event happened I was obviously oblivious at the time)
It was an ira bombing where two bombs went off in litter bins in a street and two little boys were killed Tim parry and johnathon ball. I was only a child when it happened but it sticks in my head. There was a tv programme about it too it was heartbreaking

(My Uncle was on the original board of directors for Guide Dogs for the Blind in Marin County CA where we live.)

This was an amazing episode. It must have been overwhelming for the red team but Michael was great with them. I do miss him on tv
