Pixel art - we're big fans of the art style as we think many of you are too. See anything you like or we missed? Please let us know here in the comments.
Ha, I expected Timespinner2 here :-)) Timespinner had this unique time-freeze mechanic, but I thought it could have been used in more creative ways, so I'm very curious how their next game will build on it!
My Familiar, for sure. RPG that in gameplay reminds me a bit of the Mario & Luigi RPGs. Meanwhile the style is very different. Many colorful and weird creatures. Like a gang of criminal sheep having beef with mobster cutlery. There's a demo out of it already. Thank you for making these videos and shining a light on all the lesser-known titles. Really helps them out.
Man, Sacrifire is giving some strong Star Ocean: Second Story vibes and I'm here for it. I've had Radio the Universe wishlisted for what feels like forever; really hoping that one sees a release soon!
These games look awesome. I am especially surprised by the idea of 2:03 Music power up. I use music production software, so I'm very interested in how the gameplay will be!
The last night and replaced look so insanely good. I feel like they will be to the game industry what spiderverse was for the movie industry.🤩

While they look like the best things that happened to the game industry in a decade, Replaced's gameplay is unfortunately lacking as evidenced in its current (admittedly early stage) demo version.
I am so hyped for Mariachi Legends, that game is exactly my vibe. Threads of Time has such a high bar to clear, with how impactful Chrono Trigger was, but I'm still intrigued enough to buy it. Speaking of games lost in dev hell; what happened to Heart Forth Alicia?? Did they just stop updating?
Mariachi Legends has me reaching for my Santa Muerte Tarot cards in readiness, and also added Tenjutsu to my wish list as Dead Cells was a GOTY for me. PS Threads of Time looks epic BTW.
I'm not generally interest in many pixel art games, but Bionic Bay is worth a look. The demo was a lot of fun, it's got a great art style, an intriguing world, destructive environments, amazing sense of scale, fluid 2D platforming, and some cool mechanics. Other than that, I guess we could count: Rootown - a chill looking game where you guide the roots of a tree Õooo - the follow up to NamaTakahashi's ElecHead where you're a caterpillar that lays bombs to complete platforming challenges
I am super excited for The Drifter because it's done by Powerhoof. He made some amazing pixel art games like Alluvium and Peridium. Also waiting for him to finish The Telwynium before I dive into that one too. Two Pixelart games I am looking forward to that are not on this list are Wintertwined and Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken.
Great selection of games I'll never have the time to play, but always appreciate your uploads ☺️ On a side note - "Warside" looks scarily similar to Nintendo's "Advance Wars". Knowing Nintendo, I'd be a little wary if I was the devs! ps Top marks for the Rob Hubbard mention ♥️👍
Lots of cool games! Really looking forward to Radio The Universe x_x but damn, our game isn't there - Keep Driving - and as the artist working on it for 5 years I wish I didn't have my hopes up.
It not easy to create those game for those dev with good and the bad side of things. But that life and we need to move forward to what good and bad for our future choices.
At this point, that seems a fair observation and yet.... there's still interest so worth covering. It's the last time we'll do ahead of anything concrete on its development.
Terrible Toybox working on their new game, coming early next year apparently !

I appreciate each video that is uploaded to your channel. Thank you so so much. Great collection of upcoming games. While The last night might never come out, it cannot be skipped in this kind of video. At this point it is almost a meme. Thanks for mentioning it at the end.
When those affiliate links took me to epic games I did the biggest fuc no and closed that shit as fast as possible. As a linux gamer swinely can shove it.
Wow, games where your choices actually matter? Something AAA apparently has dismissed entirely, cf horizon zero interesting npc and dragqueen age, pronounsguard.

cant help but notice a distinct lack of LUCID! XD
Wonderful video and congrats to all that made it my friends

A few from my wishlist: Mina The Hollower, Alabaster Dawn, Windswept, Aurascope, Pipsqueak, Puzzle Depot
Aboard the Adventure
Cursed Travels: Sunken City
The M/S Cornelia II Incident
Old Skies
Rosewater
She Dreams Elsewhere
I’m pretty sure The Last Night has been.. Replaced
Both, by Neon Blood 😄
Nice
The Last Night has a discord, you can pop over and ask about it
So glad the channel is back!
Cannot wait for Yes, Your Grace. Loved the first one so much.
Been anticipating The Drifter for years! The pixel art is sublime, the acting is superb, and a top-notch soundtrack to match.
Some beautiful and interesting games for sure! Added a few more games to my wishlist as always! : )
So happy to have my favorite channel back!
Man, Sacrifire is giving some strong Star Ocean: Second Story vibes and I'm here for it. I've had Radio the Universe wishlisted for what feels like forever; really hoping that one sees a release soon!
Enigma of Fear and Threads of Time are the ones that caught my eye, hopefully we get news about The Last Night before the year end
Im so glad you're back😊

Mariachi is also the one I expect the most! I feel Blasphemous vibe from it and that's a plus for me
Mariachi Legends has me reaching for my Santa Muerte Tarot cards in readiness, and also added Tenjutsu to my wish list as Dead Cells was a GOTY for me. PS Threads of Time looks epic BTW.
Warside is an obvious Advance Wars clone, but it looks like a lot of fun.
First Wargroove 1 and 2, now this. Advance Wars fans have been eating good.
Woah. Radio the Universe looks amazing!
Threads of time too.
Replaced
Threads of time just looks so good, like a modern Chrono trigger
Awesome list 👍
Aside from the pixel graphics looking amazing, some of the gameplay for these games look awesome.

I’ll be all over Loco Motive. Looks great
The future is looking bright for gaming.
So many good games! It's going to be a great 2025/2026. Only one I'd add to the list would be Mina the Hollower from Yacht Club Games
Oh, and just to add, the The last Night is *still* on my wish list, but looking forward to Replaced until it hopefully comes out, fingers crossed!
00:29 - 20: Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall: the graphics looks like Kyrandia
05:14 - 12: The Drifter: looks like Another world
the one game that probably pioneered the 2d-pixel-sprite-in-3d-environment style is releasing after the billion ones it spawned
what an awesome upcoming year for pixel art!
Man. I almost forgot The Last Night was even a thing. It's been so long
I’d throw out “Minigunner” as a promising one as well. Very fun art and style
Threads of Time a spiritual Chorono Trigger.

Ah thank you for the Rob Hubbard comment - made our day!
You guys should look up Echoes of Mystralia by Borealys Games. This is going to have one of the craziest combat.
Lots of cool games! Really looking forward to Radio The Universe x_x but damn, our game isn't there - Keep Driving - and as the artist working on it for 5 years I wish I didn't have my hopes up.
Not in this video but covered v briefly after playing the demo at the recent Next Fest: th-cam.com/video/E6LQcz6yhvE/w-d-xo.html It's about 45secs in.
Aaaaand we can't wait to play it.
If you like pixel art check out Shardpunk
hey what is that game in the intro
It not easy to create those game for those dev with good and the bad side of things. But that life and we need to move forward to what good and bad for our future choices.
should have covered the Looter too
The last night is never coming out, let's not kid ourselves.
At this point, that seems a fair observation and yet.... there's still interest so worth covering. It's the last time we'll do ahead of anything concrete on its development.
enigma do medo reference
I think the studio behind The Last Light has lost almost all their goodwill and reputation
Terrible Toybox working on their new game, coming early next year apparently !

Just don't ghosts us again ❤
That was all to do with a day job that had a no compete clause which included this channel.
@@GetIndieGamingNo worries 😉
you messed up the first few time signatures. also you misspelled TetherGeist. good video
When those affiliate links took me to epic games I did the biggest fuc no and closed that shit as fast as possible. As a linux gamer swinely can shove it.
Missed. Morsels
😝👍
lol the last night will never be playable
I thought that the replaced was last night u-u
About Warside, it's not an RTS (Real Time Strategy) game
I think Half Life 3 and Star Citizen will release before The Last Night.
Missed "The last night".
It’s at the end of the video.
