I love this gen of corolla and your video is dope, however the only corolla to come with a turbo is the gr corolla. The earlier L and LE came with a 1.8 L from the previous generation. The hatchback only came with the 2.0 NA and was offered with a manual until 2022. The hatchback also only has 3 trims; se, se nightshade and xse. The hybrid came with a 1.8 L and was available in fwd or awd
Ok so 2 confirmed cases of GRC catching on fire. Millions of Kia catch fire so yeah everyone needs to get over the fire thing and I've heard that somewhere in the US the highest octane fuel is 91 where they really require 93 so if a super knock occurs due to fuel it will disintegrate the piston which will send a rod through the block and if the turbo is super hot that will result in a fire so buyers be where only use highest octane fuels as for the price it's basically a hand built car so $45k USD for a hand built car that's actually a bargain to put it into perspective compare daily output of normal corollas to GR corolla that's why they cost so much and a drive train that was developed for WRC
one of them was involved in a front end collision The engine has been out way before the GRC and has proven itself to be a good engine some are pushing north of 600hp
There's a GR Yaris in Australia built by Lamspeed with 880whp which is about 1000bhp +- and it's still running a standard crank and a slightly modified but still factory block (not billet) and it's run a 9.4 1/4 and is also a time attack car but they turn down the power for that
I rather have him switch the definitions around, since normally, the ugly is the "take it or leave it/subjective" and the bad is...well, the bad. It confuses me each time but i guess he's made too many to change it now.
People really need to stop harping on the "GR Corolla's catch on fire" thing. Out of the thousands of GR Corolla's sold, only two caught on fire, and their warranty claims were denied because both owners were revving the cars to the moon and driving them past their limits. The cause of said fires at the very least is inconclusive and could very easily be the fault of the driver.
Hey. Just recently about the Audi a3 third generation and really wanna learn more about it I would really appreciate if you make a good bad and ugly on it 🫶
I missed the Marky drop nooooo! You should do a good, bad, and ugly for the 2005 Volvo V70r! (Or just all the V70 trims).
Sick vid Mark. You should do one on the Lexus RC
