I have the old Gosa in 5000, 8000, 20000 and 25000. Love them. And now it is even better. I will be getting one and I love Maxcuatro on all my rods ... strong, tough and 25% greater line capacity!!!!
Was in the store tuesday and brought the dark matter triple c . I was going to use my Saragosa 8k . Now you got me thinking 14k. All in all you going a great job with the videos .
Same here...when josh did his review of the 18k months ago, that gave me the bug to buy this...and a couple of Vanfords. Need to stop watching these reviews!!! 😂
For the Cape cod I go for the dawia saltiga 8'6 gt popping rod, I know the 3 feet shorter but with the correct load the lure can go far but the Angler will have more to "bully that striper bass" due to the more power reserve
This seems to be very similar in size and weight to the 8K, though a bit quicker on the retrieve. Would you be able to highlight any other differences between the two other than line capacity? I'm torn. And thanks as always for the great reviews. Love visiting the shop when I'm out East. Best around.
Hey Josh, so do all the new 2020 gosa’s in the 8k, 10k, & 14k models have graphite rotors or aluminum (yes I heard graphite in the video, want to confirm). Seems to be a lot of misinformation on the matter. If they are all graphite it will make my decision easier based on ratios and line capacity instead of just rotor material. Thanks
I bought this one last week and found that it don’t have clip to tie the line, so once I’m done with fishing the there should be a clip where I can tie the line Please suggest if I’m missing anything here ?
Nice reel! 1. What size Van Staal would this be comparable to? 2. Whatever size Van Staal reel it is comparable to, let’s say I already have that reel. Aside from being able to swim with the Van Staal, what does the VS have over this one and vice versa? Why would I want one over the other? 3. Could this reel be considered “better” than its Van Staal counterpart and if so why??? The reason I’m asking all these questions is that I’m considering selling off all of my Van Staals and getting a “better” equivalent. I do dunk my reels a lot but I NEVER swim with them, so I’m wondering what benefits (if any) I’m getting by sticking with VS, or should I walk away for the Stradic lineup? Thx.
Hi Josh. I am thinking of changing the spool on my 10000pg to 14000xg spool. Will 14000xg spool fit onto my 10000pg or do I need to change the rotor of my 10000 to 14000 as well?
I picked this one up a few weeks back. It’s actually a little smaller than the old 10K Gosa but holds a ton more line! Love this reel.

Line Capacity is the main thing. If you are fishing for bigger fish, you will need it.
@@jandhtackle Hey !!! Would you choose Saragosa 14000 or Slammer IV 6500 ? I am soooo divided !!! HELP !!
Saragosa that name legendary
Yes and I have been waiting for the BGMQ14000 but it’s worth it
Great video
Beautiful reel. Should hold up to continuous underwater submersion up to 3 ft. with the IPX8 rating.

Rubber band.
Gonna be a new inshore shark fishing changer
Do you think it can handle sharks 8 foot and under off a pier? With 500 yards of line
Nice reel!

250. The VS is more rugged. It's built to handle abuse. Also has a lower gear ratio for working surf lures. Not better than a VS. Differeent.

Thank you Josh.
Hopefully some smaller sizes come trickling in praying 🙏🏻

Yes it will
How will the 5k do inshore? To heavy?
14k.. I’m not even on that level😂 awesome review👌
👍
Nice reel! Thank you for giving us chance to win!...
Cool reel!!
Is the new 5k also IPX8
This feel looks like it would be great for amberjacks. Could you point me to a rod for it lol?
Check out the Shimano Terez H or XH. www.jandh.com/products/shimano-2019-terez-spinning-rods.html
I need this one, can you help me & how much now ?
Wow I love that reel. It's my birthday 12 August
That’s a work horse!!!
Do you think they will be making a spheros 14 k ?@jandhtackle
Not sure. That's a good question. Probably when they come out with the next generation.
Hi, Will the 14000 spool work on the 8000 reel?
Yes
Is the 14000 bigger than the 8000? Or just deeper spool
Deeper spool, same body
Same body, spool is deeper but also wider diameter and different gear ratio.
How are you getting 185 more yards then shimano says it can hold
Fake 65lb braid
love it
Beeutiful reel!
👍
Gotta have one 👍
The big difference is gear ratio.
I'm in
👍
