  • Today’s video on the Niksan Escalade T .22 Caliber Tactical - Out of the Box Range time at 50, 75, and 100 yards! is brought to you by Donny FL www.donnyfl.com
    This is our first time out of the gate with the new Niksan airguns brought to you all by Donny FL. I won’t spoil it, too much, but needless to say, I’m a fan. In today’s video, we’ll do some basic testing at 50, 75, and 100 yards on steel targets. This is how I get the first bit of testing done so that I can “feel” how the gun likes to be shot. It’s also a great way to help judge how wind will impact an airguns accuracy and performance. Man, this is a lot of fun!

    Yeah my barrel was pretty clean as well. I have the Ozark W. the shot count is high. I get 90 ish usable shots on a 250 bar fill. It slings JSB 18.13 Jumbo Heavy Exact in .22 at 900 FPS and with the gas pedal, the transfer port adjustment, all the way down, they slow down to around 820 FPS. On the low setting I get the high shot count. On the high setting it's still 75+ usable. Pellet on pellet on a good day and clover leaf groups in the wind. The gun is accurate. I'm very pleased with mine.

    The quality of the material is not very good, but Grupman is legendary, far beyond expectations

    It the same thing as kral it comes from the same factory like cattleman and Gunnison /retay and a couple other company crossman/Benjamin all bought from this company hopefully the quality control better than what everyone else has done there hasn't been the greatest track record in Turkish made air guns and there quality. They come with lots of cool extras and designs but usually all need some kinda work done to them to make them work and function the way you would prefer it to in my opinion and experience with Turkish airguns are usually projects because of the lack of quality control and machining mperfections. They should of put dual adjustable regulars. I actually want one but I do know there will be work needed so I'm most likely going to get it used. Have a great one till the next one.🎯🛠️💯🍻👍✌️

    First off I had a bit of a "naah... Not another turkey gun.. Doesn't any other country do any of these?..😞" feeling about the whole rifle. 🤣🤣
    But. Now I kinda got myself intrigued by it.. It surely does have a long/deep enough of a magazine for heavy ammo - and can store lots of air. Maybe you then could get some decent fpe numbers outta this one.🤔 Or then the internal build of it just can't be up to it - which'd be a very big bummer.. Interested to see in the future what people get outta it..

    I have the same rifle. It was shooting at 880fps with 18.13 then I switched to 15.89 and that was around 911fps. It does not like 14.35 or 13.35 pellets. Then I topped it off and the fps dropped to 675fps with 18.13 and 719fps with 15.89 with no changes other than filling it up.
    I use the FX mod the empty can and it is crazy quiet. Accuracy with it shooting 880fps 18.13 was about a 50cent piece or less with like 48 shots. The max shots I got was 280 and still maybe 1-2 more mags !!! This is the 1st time topping off and losing 150fps or more and it is still shooting low at 225 bar. I will keep playing with it till I see the fps come back up to 880.

    im on the fence between this in .25 the escalade-S model or the avenge -x which has dual regs and seems to be very accurate @ 25,50,100 yards i know this gets more shots but ive also noticed alot of the videos on the Avenge-X with a donnyFL moderator or impulse are crazy quite compared to the one your shooting in .22 cal. any advice on this donnyfl has them onsale for 575$ basically 45$ over a Avenge-x which is more accurate and quite the shot count is not 100% importance in my decision i could also do the ozark-TS and which is like 5$ over the Avenge-x .25 around $535 with the 17% off sale

      @@AirGunWeb Niksan claims 900fps with 18.13 jsbs for the Escalade. Is there a hammer spring adjuster?

    • @AirGunWeb
      @AirGunWeb  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @fjqtaxch9 - it’s at the low point in the shot curve. It’s the nature of an unregulated airgun with a ton of volume. I’ll be curious to see what we are getting when we get down to 200 bar. And, how many shots we’ll get at optimal velocity. It is VERY normal for an unregulated gun to have a wide shot curve. Fine the sweet spot and live in it.

    Yes something different and new. Love all the airguns out there but get tired of the same old same old. Thanks for showing us all something new. I do wish this gun was regulated. Maybe Huma, Lane, or Altaros will have one for this gun. Sorry but not a fan of unregulated airguns. To each their own on that subject but consistency and accuracy go hand in hand…not shot curves from my experience.

    As a Yankee, with a small arsenal, when I think Air Rifles, I think survival. Sure the guns are fun to shoot, but out on the last frontier (where .223/5.56, 270 308, 30-06, & all sorts of calibers are great) & needed for the critters that reside from the Eastern Rockies to the Prairie... A PCP is a no go, a gun without iron sights, is a no go. I want to be able to take a gun and tin into a wood, and not have to worry about anything else.
