Thanks for the video. I am starting to use blocks, that's why I arrived to your channel. The way I have being doing is selecting the object, then clipboard copy with base point and paste as block, but your way looks a good option to make it more custom, I am going to try it!
If you go to my channel page and click videos, you should get a search icon in the top right where you can type in a search term that will show my different video results for it:) Just let me know if you have any issues and I can try and make a better post about it!

I do have a few videos on xrefs, it looks like you found at least one of them hopefully?!:)
