Is Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2003) STILL GREAT!?

- PRINCE OF PERSIA THE SANDS OF TIME (2003) REVIEW
In 2003, UbiSoft had a giant hit on their hands, a game where you have the ability not only parkour on walls and sword fight bad guys, but also to rewind time with a push of a button, this time bending game was received very well,
spawning sequels and eventually a movie, but we don't have to talk bout that.
I try spark nostalgia by sharing games from my childhood but also, i like to go back and finish games i didn't as a kid and the sands of time was one of them, so lets take a look at Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
The game follows an unnamed Prince whose father sacks an ancient city at the instigation of a traitorous Vizier. During the attack, the Prince obtains an artifact called the Dagger of Time, while his father's army captures an hourglass containing the mysterious Sands of Time. Visiting the palace of the Sultan of Azad to present the Sands as a gift, the Vizier tricks the Prince into releasing the Sands, transforming the people of Azad into savage monsters under his control. Together with Farah, a young Princess who knows the power of the Sands, the Prince works to correct his mistake and foil the Vizier's evil plans. The gameplay revolves around the Prince's platforming abilities, broken up by fights with the creatures created by the Sands. A key mechanic in the game is using the Dagger to rewind time if the Prince makes a mistake while platforming and use it to kill and freeze enemies.

Hey, I remember you from the Alice and Wonderland video. I recently replayed Sands of Time myself and I find myself agreeing with many of the things you've sad about the game, although I don't quite agree with you on the combat. It's never really hard if you do the vaulting over combo. If you slow down time, you can do this with the blue enemies too, so every enemy dies to the vault over two hit combo.
IM STILL WAITING!!! WE WANT THE ORIGINAL BACK!!!!

@@Ewaii26 Of course its not a rule because for example in my case a video with really shitty audio still has the most views. But when you have a nice voice it's always good to hear it a little louder and more clear (Im not a pro or anything just in case so do what you think is the best in the future!)

You should definitely play the Van Helsing movie game. It's definitely a Devil May Cry clone but its a goooood one. Caution tho ⚠️ the games tough. Note power up your weapons/attacks and upgrade buy health do a few challenges and you'll be fine😅 Anyways as for Prince of Persia. I've died so many times in this game it's not even funny 😢. Half of the early 2000's Games I played growing up is why I have PTSD when it comes to certain games. I save like a mother f*cker if the saves are in the pause menu. Also, playing older games makes me glad there's auto saves and check points in modern games. Cuz faq that back what '03 when Sands of Time came out you die you gotta do the level all over. 😢 getting flashbacks to Kingdom Hearts, Spider-Man 2002 Movie Game, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Movie Game .
