If your looking for a safe, rigid racing class vehicle, here's what you do... You put a lightweight carbon composite body on a cross welded tubular chassis, add a full 6 point roll cage, and racing seats with a full 5 point harness... Window netting in the driver's window also would be a plus to avoid extremities from exiting the window in a collision... Also you may want to include a quick release steering wheel, and a fire suppression system as well... If your just looking to make for a safer road car, or a street stock drag car, a 4 point "half cage" would do... For a street stock drag car, I would still go with a racing seat and 5 point harness... But for a road car, that is not needed... PS: I see ya bruh... (Waves back to dummy)
So what have we learned? If you wanna keep your kids safe on the way to school you gotta get a roll cage, a five point racing harness, and bucket seats.
Everyone here don’t know anything about safety, roll cage is NOT better especially on road, were the speed limits is 120kmph(75mph), because cars are MADE for absorbing the energy of crash, with roll cage you will feel all the energy of the crash, instead a part. Also if you hit with your head a part of rollcage the probably of deat or serious damage are really high. The 70% of crashes are under 30kmph(20mph) where the roll cage is only more dangerous. The real advantage of roll cage are over 150kmph(95mph), and is for this why the racecar have a roll cage, they drive a way faster than road cars, the driver have a helmet and is basically stuck on his seat with really big 6 point seatbelt.

Roll cage seems to be of the same shape as the car frame ........ But no we won't strengthen the frame ...... Instead add another frame inside a frame,.......pure genius!
Cars need crumple zones (zones that break apart) so they can spread the impact more, older cars used to be more rigid and when you crash on one of those the impact force will be felt directly on the driver, causing more trouble than having a rigid frame inside a softer one.
