Most people don’t know how complex that time in France was, that he was Emperor twice, exiled twice. There were multiple French Revolutions, and multiple Republics. Comparing himself to Elba Napoleon could be self-defeating, since Napoleon never won a battle after that. If he wanted the exiled and died Napoleon, that’s St. Helena.
But Napoleon didnt die at Elba,he get back from Elba back to France take a throne again and then loose at Waterloo then he was sent to St.Helen Island and there he died

Gahhhh I love how much culture there is in this role for Stallone. He kinda always plays the dumb guy or the blunt instrument in large part because of the speech impediment. At the tail end of his career his character is threatening a mob boss while referencing which island Napoleon was exiled to. Considering most adults I run into use their fingers to add 4 and 3, this is very refreshing.

Can't wait for season 2, if was touch and go for a bit when Sly said tv was too hard and didn't think he could do another season but thankfully he said yes in the end. He's doing a reality show with his daughters right now 😂
