None of the receivers or even the quarterbacks matter with an awful offense line. It’s amazing this has gone on for 4 years of mediocrity at the tackle positions.
Thourton is always a flasher in training camp, and when regular season comes around, he s***s the bed. If they keep him around, he definitely has something to prove... to everyone.
Don't agree with the Drake maye hasn't seen another opposing legit defense scheme as an excuse. That's not keeping Chicago, Washington, Denver from starting their rookie qb. That's what coaching and game planning throughout the week leading up to the gm is for. We all know the real reason why they are reluctant to starting Maye.
How many QBs have them teams all cycled through in the last 6 season lol. I agree there doing Maye dirty, and I agree that's a BS excuse. But you can't look at them teams and how they handle there rookie qbs and say we should be doing the same thing.
It makes me nervous that Thornton is out best receiver. Unless he trained his butt off I don't see it. Hopefully I'm wrong because he does have tons of speed maybe top 5 in the league but still so brittle
What i wanna know is why we even want to run the browns offense. Its not like they're good. They had an amazing defense last year. And how many pro bowl studs in there system? Ben mcadew is a proven failed experiment. Jacoby is clearly AVP's boy, but look back to the last time the Pats played the browns with jacoby as there starter. They absolutely destroyed them. 45 to 7 i think it was. So honestly what are they doing here. Maye should get every first team rep as a #3 over all pick. Even if he isnt going to be the starter week 1. When will he have time mid season. This shit doesnt even make any sence. And i feel as if this offensive coaching really doesnt have a plan. It feels like there winging it.
Probably because AVP was (in the pats eyes) the best available OC and thats his system. Just a theory though but I agree with the sentiment of the question, there has been a lot of talk about the new offense and the ups and (mostly) downs of it yet nobody is talking about WHY we are going with this specific offensive scheme.
Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix haven’t seen opposite schemes. Mac Jones played 12 games of football in half full stadiums during COVID and he didn’t see any other NFL defensive schemes before he started. Weak excuse.
Tyquon Thornton, Pre season MVP in the WR room. Also Tyquon Thornton, injured week one, out next 7 games
Man I really hope not. He could be a solid deep threat in the league if he figures out how to stay healthy.
Says the guy on the couch with no athletic ability.
He absolutely sucks. They’re gonna cut booty and keep this second round total bust that our asshole ex Coach picked.
Tyquan*
I thought it was spelled Tie Kcwaun
Love the blooper reels lol. Just kidding guys, thanks for the takes.
Great as always. Preciate you guys 🤝
I swear to god, I hear different things from all “pats insiders”

I’m glad Jacoby brisset is leading our franchise 🥴
Wallace is a right tackle a right tackle

@@TheOxman420and they are inexperienced as well. Think if they make mistakes let it be Brissett to fall on the sword instead of Maye
Plus Jacoby threw a interception vs those same defences😂
All rookie QBs are not created equally . And to save time yes that says Delusional "insert joke about how the name fits or something like that"🙄
lol what, why’s the reason

Who the hell is our RT😂 oh just our highest rated player
C. Wallace is much better at right than left, and V. Lowe has looked horrible under the lights.

I think this was well said
