Beautiful flowers! My fav is definitely the succulents especially the hexagon one. I was wondering when you were coloring the leaves and petals for the tulip on the cutting mat, do you have to worry about the alcohol markers staining your mats? If the ink gets on the mats is it easy to clean off? and what would you use to do that?
It does stain the mat, and it will 100% NOT come off 😅😂😂 However, this won't affect future cuts; it won't stain the materials you put on the mat! I don't mind a stained mat if it doesn't affect my work 😂😂
These look really cool, gonna try making some soon :) Btw, i recently tried making miniature peace lilies, maybe you can give it a try too. Use floral wires as a stem, toilet paper painted yellow with white glue for the stigma and heart-shaped punched copy paper for the "flower" part :D
I tried making peace lilies a while back! They... didn't turn out great 😂😂😂😂 (they're featured in my previous mini plants video if you're brav.. ehm curious 😂😂😂) Isn't toilet paper an AMAZING craft material BTW? 😂
@@SimplystellaTV Yep, toilet paper actually works really well for miniature baked goods like scones, cookies and bread too (kinda ironic😂) Looking forward to more videos, having an urge to make some miniature plants recently :3
I'm not sure this qualifies as a trick 😅 but I just used quick-dry glue and held the parts in place (with my fingers) until they dried 😂 Alternatively, you could use UV resin and cure it while holding the walls in place! (Normally I prop up all the elements with small wood blocks while the glue sets, but because this terrarium had slanted walls, that wasn't an option 😅)

I'm little lazy, so I would like to use dark cardstock for frames. No painting :)
