Yeah I was scrolling through the comments looking for an update but nothing. This is just my opinion why their probably wasn't one. I feel he didn't change and she moved on from him. When the show reached out for the update she was probably embarrassed and didn't want to do an update. That's just what I think probably happened unfortunately.

Also my parents were very physically abusive to one another and I knew I'd never ever allow that to happen to me. So yes I do I lived it. It was mental and emotional abuse for my Brother and I.

I’m not good enough, she’s going to leave. She’s going to see she could have it better elsewhere, she’s gonna-” that they lash out and abuse. And when the person doesn’t leave them after that it’s a relief to that constant anxiety. “Ok I did this to them and they still didn’t leave. They aren’t gonna leave me”. It’s only a matter of time until that insecurity/anxiety/anger builds again tho.

When you have demons in your mind and mix them with stuff like alchohol, it results in catastrophic events. You could see the defeat and humility in his eyes when being confronted with what he did to her. Admitting it was a big step. Wanting and getting help is another. Idk the outcome with this story or where they are now but coming from someone who had a family like this and saw the changes really made us whole again. A kick in the ass of reality can be one hell of a wake up call. I truly hope this family is back on track and being good parents to their kids.

I noticed the signs right away and left him, got a restraining order tried to get help for my kitty but by then it was too late. I got an autopsy done and it concluded he died from blunt force trauma to the head. I used those results to get full custody of my child and the courts deemed him incapable of being a father. When you have demons in your mind and mix them with stuff like alchohol, it results in catastrophic events. You could see the defeat and humility in his eyes when being confronted with what he did to her. Admitting it was a big step. Wanting and getting help is another. Idk the outcome with this story or where they are now but coming from someone who had a family like this and saw the changes really made us whole again. A kick in the ass of reality can be one hell of a wake up call. I truly hope this family is back on track and being good parents to their kids.

The father of my child beat my cat to death... that was as much as I needed to know I took my son and got full custody at 19. It's never easy to walk away but it's a lot easier to walk away instead it is to be a child trying to grow up in an abusive home

@@nanwai6277 I didn't know it was even happening until he got sick. The sick fuck would wait untilI went to work... I noticed the signs right away and left him, got a restraining order tried to get help for my kitty but by then it was too late. I got an autopsy done and it concluded he died from blunt force trauma to the head. I used those results to get full custody of my child and the courts deemed him incapable of being a father. I had an ex like that. He was the best person ever until he got drunk, then he'd abuse me for no reason. He used to say he didn't remember hitting me, but I'd have bruises, so he'd cry and tell me he was sorry. He had an abusive dad, so maybe that's why he was that way. Shrugs.
