Incredible video with such honesty, self reflection and learned wisdom. There will always be struggles in life, that’s just the way it is. It’s how we work with our struggles that matter. And all I see is a guy that works hard to better himself, is tough, resilient, a wonderful speaker, an empath, helper of others and I could go on. The more I hear stories of xxy people I think we are quite special humans (in the most positive ways) though we don’t seem to notice it very much ourselves. But let’s not forget, life is not easy, it will beat us down from time to time, but I think it’s the way of xxy people to always fight back, reflect and get better.
My son is 20 and we found out a year ago that he has Klinefelter. We only found out from tests they were doing right before his transplants. He has Germ Cell Cancer and the doctor said they can be connected. As I read about it and looked back, a lot of things make sense now. I appreciate your vidoes so we can learn more.
Thank you very much for your honest words. I've been following your channel since our son was born. he is now 2.5 years old. he is such a wonderful child. he is funny, friendly, warm and likes to be the center of attention. At this point in time you can't even tell that he's an XXY child. We are overjoyed to be able to spend the minutes, days and hours with him. His biggest brother loves him more than anything, and the boys have a lot of fun together. Your videos have encouraged us to be able to deal with such a situation better. We wish you the very best in the future. Greetings and see you soon
You and I have a lot in common and more people need to know about XXY. I found out I had it at 35 when my wife and I tried to get pregnant. This channel has helped me feel like I'm not alone. I'm doing much better now but it was tough for a while. We appreciate all that you do!
Thank you! When I finally thought I was winning at life, the person closest to me broke me down little by little, but im so glad I didnt marry her. That would have been horrible. One day at a time.
I'm 72 & and everything you said on this pod cast I can identify with. I found out I had primary hypogonadism when I was 39. I'm glad I found this site because I felt like an island in the vast ocean of humanity.
Hey bro. I don't have XXY, but I have been bullied my whole life. The biggest thing I learned is always stay present in the kow and realize you are NOT what people say or do. Fuck these people. Keep doing you changing lives. You taught me how to inject my TRT so thank you. New sub.
@LivingwithXXY I been there my man. It hurts. It's one of the lowest form of mental abuse. I hope you stay strong. You are much more than what you or other people think. Keep doing you brother.
@@LivingwithXXY When I was diagnoised with 47 xxy my genetic counselor gave me a sheet of paper with your name on it. These are highly educated people, experts in the their fields and they suggested I turn to you to figure out who I am. We share a lot in common. I however, grew up in a narcissistic family. Always the scapegoat, always the black sheep of the family. Those are the cons. The pros of growing up in a narcissistic family is they gave me an education, they taught me about people, and they made me believe in myself. Unfortunately this is your first experiece. It hurts. Learn from it. Grow from it. You are changing the way folks think about Klinefelter Syndrome. That is a lot to feel good about. Be well, my friend.
@@onlineaccount63 Woah, I didnt know my name was on a resource! Whats so hard for me is I hurt my back saving my exs life. And if only I had known she was using me, I wouldnt be hurt. The hardest part is I grew up snowboarding for 25 years and the last 5 years I havent done it because of my injury. I feel like I lost myself in the process of dating her.
Brother, you inspire so many, and you've excelled at so much. Sharing your struggles in life helps others correlate their life struggles, and might change minds. Thank you for this. It is our behavior and the way that we respond to adversity that makes us stronger people.
Hey just wanted to say you’re amazing and every video I felt like you shared so much vulnerability and education to help so many people. You are brave, strong and fearless. I think it’s great to focus on our struggles but also I think it’s important to focus your strengths your problem solving from those struggles you challenged yourself continuously. As a fellow empath thank you for sharing how you have learnt so many lessons from being that empath not looking for the bad in anyone in every situation. I think the biggest challenge is learning to have boundaries to always trust your intuition and only hang with those who inspire you and make you feel so light that you’re reminded that you’re on the right path. You’re so amazing and strong thanks for sharing everything you do.
Yea I chose empathy over my own intuition and ill never do that again, doesn't matter how much someone else is struggling. My ex played damsel in distress and ide never experience that before or knew what it was. Now I do, but I have isolated myself away from women at the moment. Gotta figure out my new self.
@@LivingwithXXY it sucks when an empath fall into the power of a narcissist, but it’s great you’re also seeing what lessons and strength can you gain from that pain and experience because you can see and begin to set those boundaries of what you will never accept again. it’s amazing how you will feel stronger and tougher each day pursuing your own personal joys rather than anyone else’s. Through these experiences I think we learn healthy boundaries and self worth/love/care. Then when you are so comfortable with being alone in the joy that is often when that unexpected special person will come in and challenge you but in all the best ways. You feel good you feel better as a person in their company and they do too but I learnt the importance of boundaries cause you can’t give them your best self if you aren’t taking care of yourself first that’s healthy and they love you for it cause you can give them your best truest form of self. That’s what I’ve learnt and discovered having had a narcissist ex. I wish you the best in your own self discovery of what you need moving forward and what is best for you. Thanks for your channel and being your authentic self.
Seems like you've been trough a lot, but you've managed to grow stronger despite all of it. I'm happy for you. I don't have XXY, but I was bullied because I was quiet and awkward. It was tough, but I survived!
Thank You for these! I’m trying to get ahead of any struggles my son might face. ❤. I have my son do affirmations everyday before school. I try to get him to do everything as independently as possible. I try to teach him how to defend himself from bullies, adults and children. He has an appointment with an endocrinologist tomorrow. Wish us luck. Any advice is invaluable to us!
I discovered after starting testosterone, that in addition to XXY I'm also Autistic. So much insight into my life given to me at 45+ years old has been a struggle to deal with. I understand that 1 in 8 XXY people are Autistic as apposed to the typical 1 in 35 people in the general population. I've also been in a long-term covert Narcissistic relationship (12+ years), and in another relationship she left after more than 5 years because she wanted a child. *people are watching your 20+ min video. Watching relatable content is so important in validating our own experiences.
%100 me, found out i had XXY when i was 9 (parents knew before birth). Tho doctors here in Australia refuse to believe XXY is the cause of anything. Instead they diagnosed me with Borderline Personality disorder (Very Similar). Very frustrating, i should really show them this video.
"Normal" people don't understand us and always try to control us, I've noticed. I too suffered a painful breakup a year ago, (while in a similar "helping an aging parrnt" caregiver role) and maybe just being single is my natural state.... I tried therapy, but again, the Normies don't really get it. Maybe you need to find other KS men willing to join your charity to manage operations?
I can relate to everything you have shared. Although, I am 69yr old and found out at the age of 15 when I attempted suicide twice. Thank god I came thru it. However back then they didn't know how to treat. Not until the age of 51 did I finally get on TRT at Mayo clinic because I was fighting severe depression at my job and in my life. I was an "it" sexually and did not identify either straight or gay. Totally asexual. Then after being placed on TRT it thru me into a pubescent stage of life. My world was turned upside down but I finally felt I belonged. During this time I found out I was homosexual which I tried to deny for awhile. There is so much more to my story as well but I don't wish to share it here. But I finally found a partner who is 10 yrs younger was divorced with kids and grandchildren. We have been together for over 16yrs. He is my rock and we have a very healthy life now. But I still have my issues with depression. I just try to cope as best I can. It of course helps to have a caring partner. Hopefully, you have a counselor or therapist. If you don't I STRONGLY encourage you to seek one out. They are on-line and can be performed in the privacy of your home. I want to let you know that I never spoke of my condition *except with my partner" until finding your channel. You have done more good than you realize for a lot of people. I wished my physical health was better so I could have attended some of your forums but my days of any traveling is over. Wish I had your strength and courage. Please take care of yourself. NEVER give up! You are worthy, loved and respected by many....Best wishes. Always look forward to your videos.
