bose store selling this now for $299 brand new. a simple setup and a good quality sound, lots of speakers out there but for me bose still the best :))
I bought mine when it first came out. Paid alot more but still worth it.
I got this in a clearance sale in brandsmart for $199 best deal ever and remember Bose since the circuit city days in 1997 and finally got Bose this time around very good Bass

it has the reg audio cable, and the optical cable input, so you can hook it to almost anything.
I don't understand why BOSE has being my FAVORITE till now, as far as am concern, no sound technology so-passes BOSE

Mine has nothing on the back that turns up the bass and I'm pretty sure that mine is an older model like probably around 2006 or 2007, it doesn't even have an optical port it's a red white port with auxiliary at the other end. Any suggestions on how to turn up the bass in my situation?
Maybe TV settings but I have no idea unless you can run the audio through an external device that can change it maybe a receiver

I think the bose cinemate 15 is better
I inherited one of these. Sorry, not impressed. Sound isn't so great, blatty and rolled off. aThe woofer is boomy with a distinct canned quality. Worst of all there are no controls to adjust the audio and only one analog input and one optical input. Piss poor value for the money.
I picked up one of these things for free. My GF's employer was throwing it out. Have to say I was not impressed. The sound is rather squawky (colored) in the midrange and dim in the highs. The bass from the sub is boomy, slow and one note. There is also poor integration between the sub and the satellites. Worst of all it comes with this deluxe HH remote but sadly no controls of any kind to adjust the sound; no EQ, not even bass or treble. Turns out the remote is just a universal remote so you can control everything else but not the Cinemate GS.
All there is is a volume control and a knob to adjust subwoofer level... that's it. Because it was free I don't much care, but at it's original retail price.... it kind of stinks.
