Thanks for watching ya'll! I appreciate the likes and shares on the video, it really helps my channel to grow, which helps me to do more and better shows! I'll be adding more items to my ebay store over the next week, google search "ultrarocks ebay" to find it the easiest.
the energy in at this place must be amazing even the chipmunks must know accidently growing exceptional looking sun flowers on top of a incredible bed of amethyst great vid awesome vibes thanks for sharing your amethyst adventures love peace happiness and harmony to you and all safe healthy loving journeys to you and all infinity belove
Now that is the purple I love to see, not too dark and vibrant. Oh how I wish I were mobile because I would save like crazy to get just one of those gorgeous amethysts Bryan. Your videos are full of Mother Nature's beauty, thank you so much for taking the time to film these wonderful crystals. Take care my friend and good luck, I missed seeing Matrix bless him. Whaaaattttttt eeeehhhhhhhhh!!!! Sure hope you come crystal collecting in western Canada! Would love to see you and Dan Hurd Prospecting team up in BC! Such beautiful crystals and thank you for all hard work and beautiful videos! 💜🇨🇦
Jerry C I know that, but if you’ve watched some of the other videos on this channel, you will have seen Brian do some gemstone panning and I just happen to think they would make an amazing duo.
my favorite part was the beginning where youre leaning down to show the beautiful points on the amethyst..right behind the sign that says.. PLEASE DONT TOUCH..😂😂😂💜
While your mining you look up and see yellow you think to yourself what the heck is that and you find it is a sunflower in the middle of the mine and the just makes your day 🌻
Brahm.....thanks for the afterhours collecting.....we drive 10 hours, collect 2 days, and drive back 10 hours.....A blast, Love this mine, and Brahm the friendly miner....so great you got Bryan, The Crystal Collector there.....whaaat....and, yes, we left a nice tip for kind accomodation ....love all the vids, learn so much, thanks a bunch.....canadian season is short....
Been there twice, last June was the last time. It's an awesome place. Will be back this May. Great time to search for your crystals and you can take buckets away!
@@Shevetlevy It is in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada on the north and sort of east side of Lake Superior. It's super fun and there are like 3-4 mines you can visit up there.
I really hope you visit Montana one day! It's the state I collect the most amethyst from! Crystal park, the little gem mine and if you are lucky enough to find a seller that as some, the pohndorf mine!
Hi Brian. Great vids. I have a question that I hope doesn't sound stupid. Why is it that in Canada the amethyst is in rock, but say at Purple Heart mine you find them in dirt? Ty
Sitting in that pocket you now know what an ant feels like in a regular geode! I think I may have to visit this place, not so much for the amethyst but for the hematite inclusions - those make for unique specimens that not every collection has. I love the combination of the red and purple in one cluster. Thanks for the location info, naturally I instantly went looking for a website.
Dude!!!!!!! Or I mean Whatttttttttt!!!! Thanks for sharing. I live in Kansas and I have been down to Arkansas but I really want to go find Amethyst. I'm going to have to drive a long ways in some direction. Would you think this is better than the mines in SC for me to go to?
Bryan, I am subscribed to a very dedicated rockhound from Sweden, his channel is called 'Mining and grinding' , he actually makes jewelry from the actual material he digs up. He just dropped a video about his visit to, what he considers the promised land of Georgia and South Carolina. He was super excited to get his hands on some amethyst. He skunked. All I could think was damn, if only he had maybe contacted YOU! You guys could have made a collaboration video and blown his mind! I'll bet you would have gotten a nice piece of jewelry for your effort too! As always, love your videos and be sure to keep on digging!
@@TheCrystalCollector Excellent! Don't let his appearance fool you though! He looks like he should be pulling an oar on a viking long boat, but he seems to have a deep respect for the crystals and a fairly deft touch. Oh yeah, he's very respectful.
I think if the public can't have access to the hole mine they shouldn't be letting people pay to mine,,, because they don't know it but they are not really mining there just getting left over broken and shatter crystals,,,, what they are doing is very miss leading,,,, love your videos ,,,, I'm a collector also,,, I'm from central ARKANSAS so im kinda spoiled when it comes to crystals,,,
I agree. Don't call it a public mine unless people can come and dig the crystals directly from the ground themselves. Sadly it seems the only places you can ACTUALLY mine crystals and rocks nowadays are all held by greedy private owners. Leaves this kind of tailing pile bullshit as the only option available for most people. Really puts me off rockhounding in general when shit's like this.
Love the videos! I was wondering if you could make a video explaining how you determine the value or rareness of amethyst, also what qualifies a crystal as museum quality. And what is the most valuable or rare/expensive amethyst and other crystals you’ve found? Are there any you’ve sold to museums? Thank you so much I love watching your videos! ☺️
The Crystal Collector thank you so much!these videos are so interesting to me I love seeing all the beautiful crystals you find! And that’s awesome it would honestly be like a dream to find one that valuable!
Is it pretty easy to go to these places, I always wanted to go but how does it work, doyou have to pay? And all that ?like how does that all work, are u allowed to keep what u find ?
I'm a newcomer to your channel, I have to say I never imagined you could find amethyst this huge. what do you do with all those crystals you find? do you get to keep them or are they the property of the mine? also how do you tell which ones are gem quality, able to be made into rings and necklaces and stuff?
Yes I’ve been doing this for a living for over 15 years, and most people just put them in their collection, every location have a different style and look of Crystals so it’s fun to collect from different spots all over the world. I put mine on eBay, Google search “ultra Rocks eBay”
While you were there you should of walk north 1 mile and half you would of found a cave full of amethyst with lots of silver, not sure if land still open check
I was in that mine lady flipped out , tailings were over picked i wasn’t waisting my time driving there for nothing I filled my bucket full in 5 minutes and hightailed it to the pay shack paid for my gorgeous gems . If you want respect treat your public not like pigs at a trough herding them to buy over inflated gems in your store
Well, sorry you had a rough visit. It was really fun while I was there, you had to search and maybe even bust rock to get anything really decent but they were purple everywhere
Thanks for watching ya'll!

The Crystal Collector I love your videos so much they make me want to go out and find crystals which someday I will.
I really love the Amethyst crystals from Canada. The red Hematite inclusions are so prominent, it really makes the purple color almost glow.
The Crystal Collector Yay for ebay additions!
The Crystal Collector My anniversary is in April 25th and I’m looking at taking my wife to a amethyst mine any ideas or diamond minds etc...
"PLEASE DON'T TOUCH" touches...
Not only that, homie leans aaallll the way over it lol
LOL on that "please don't touch" sign on the rock you climb on, Brian- too funny!!
Lmao. The first clip has a huge sign that says “DO NOT TOUCH” while he leans on the display 🤣
And in behind is where Otto parked his bus

Yeah I thought that was pretty neat the way the sunflowers are scattered by the Chipmunks, the energy is awesome up there!

Yeah it’s funny, the guy that was filming me was making fun of me because I was touching it and I didn’t even see that huge sign until after, 😆
I love the phrase Fresh cluster as if anything about the rocks in that area are fresh and new
While your mining you look up and see yellow you think to yourself what the heck is that and you find it is a sunflower in the middle of the mine and the just makes your day 🌻

So neat! I missed your cute little dog.
Thunder Bay Ontario! I had no idea we had amethysts in Ontario! cool. I'm way down by Point Pelee.
Hi Brian. Great vids. I have a question that I hope doesn't sound stupid. Why is it that in Canada the amethyst is in rock, but say at Purple Heart mine you find them in dirt? Ty
Great question, basically the amethyst in the Carolinas formed in mostly a pegmatite that has decayed so much it’s now basically dirt.
Deb Lowell - I second that! Really good question!
Sitting in that pocket you now know what an ant feels like in a regular geode!
I think I may have to visit this place, not so much for the amethyst but for the hematite inclusions - those make for unique specimens that not every collection has.
