I noticed that you said that you can capture the soul of the "herald of thunder" in the arcade map for the upgrade to "soul of Arakali". Since 3.1 that is no longer the entity you will target for this upgrade. You will have to capture the "soul of Arachnoxia" from the tier 5 Toxic Sewer map. The new minor god pantheon power "soul of Shakari" that requires the soul of the "terror of the infinte drifts" to be captured for its upgrade makes you immune to poison. Poison is a strong and scary map mod, especially when you encounter it on guardians. On top of that gearing for it and getting chaos resistance is extremely expensive. The new minor god power essentially negates the need for this. I think its worthwile information.

For anyone following this guide @11:35 . If you put fort in your 6 link axe , u can take the fort gem and stun on melee hit out of your gloves and replace with Cwdt and Immortal call(Keeping leap and Faster attacks). Yes you lose chance to gain endurance charges but it makes for smoother play, and 100% up time on fort is better imo. You will also gain the Arakaali buff which is huge.

Well Id say highest phys dps 4l, then 5l, 6l. But id rather prefer high phys dps 5l than a low 6l :D we got kaoms in here so if you get a 5l chest or something, you could use cyclone in there and get max phys dps axe id say.
The problem with that is, most Endgame Items are like 65+ Lvl, and before you have leveling gear, you will get trough lvling anyways sooner or later. I think its better to just create universal leveling guides untill you get to mapping point and switch gear for endgame :)

this build is better on juggy imo, at least for mapping/uber lab running due to juggy's "cant be slowed lower than base speed" ascendancy node, rending ur character freeze frozen ground and temporal chains immune, and allowing more movement speed, which translates to faster mapping. that said, slayer does more dps with onslaught and free cull. ive played both with very high end gear, and i prefer juggy, but if youre knew to the game, slayer is more forgiving as an ascendancy as you really feel the lack of dps on juggy without very good gear.
There are better builds for Shaper only, for Trials only for Mapping only and all those hyper ass carry builds but this build is a solid all-contenter without switching around Gear. If Juggy works out for you, why not :) I just love the Slayer Way of Cyclone!

yes, took me 6 tries but i had to make sure that he wasnt powered up, and to dodge his big aoe hit, other wise life leech was good enough for me not to die from regular attacks, granted if one gets a leech neck and kaoms heart it would have been a one shoot, also had a 5 link weapon which helped.
Nice build, i like it. Question; What is the alternative for belt? The Retch now cost around 5ex so im looking for something cheaper. I have the rest of the gear.
Im aware that prices in league are much lower than standard, but i have no interest in league. I have some nice stygian belts, but maybe ill wait for retch for prices to drop.

Hi, thx! this is the build ive been looking for. 2 questions, can we skip daresso's salute? how much difference without 2 more aoe radius? that is, attacking with 25 ranged cyclone. the idea is that using daresso will lose around 50 intelligence, and it is rly hard to get a 50 intelligence steel ring
Well, it always depends on what resists you look at... you dont really need perfect rings for it, but the 2x 50 int on rings is probably a must have. You could also get carnage heart but daressos gives a pretty insane dmg boost. 60% increased Melee Damage when on Full Life

Hey nice build! I'm actually running it in Abyss league and things are going pretty well so far with cheap gear. I'm using a Doedre's to get +1 curses and using Enfeeble and Vulneravility, would you recommend this or should i switch to just Vulneravility and get a better ring to max out my resistances (66, 75, 50 res atm)? Does enfeeble compensate the lack of res or better to get full res maxed out first?
Hello i got some question - Darreso devoution with 1 additional curse cant be matched this league in my case - 30 ex is just too much.. Would carnage with 1 curse work or what would you sugguest ?
Can I use vaal pact? Can I use belly of the beast+ carnage heart+ deceiver in the early game? Can I sacrifice some damage for more survivability? Can I spend passive points on fortify? Can I use a 500+ dps 2H axe before I get atziri's disfavor? LOL, so many questions.
You can use all of them BECAUSE this Build doesn't have Build Enabling Items. Means, it willl still work without Atziris, no Cycloner is born with it :P Kaoms is just the best Armor for 2h RT, if you cant afford it, take something else untill. :)

DEin Skilltree ist einwenig anders aber anhand deiner Items seh ich, das du zuwenig Life hast. Deine Juwelen sind auch sehr dürftig... du solltest überall 7% max life drauf haben, zudem fehlen dir Juwelen Slots. DU könntest da locker 6k-7k life rausholen.
Hmh. ok. Und um weniger Schaden zu bekommen kann ich was tun? Ich habe ja den Skilltree so gemacht wie er sein soll(laut deinem guide) Ich wüsste jetzt nicht was ich rausnehmen könnte :o
Vaal Cyclone isnt worth it, I played with it myself but you get locked down in place and you cannot stop it untill its done. Killed me several times :D
I have a ~10ex budget starting out, what do you recommend as my first expensive purchase? I'm in softcore and I already have a Kaoms Heart. Should I get a Disfavour immediately? Edit: also, would Starforge achieve higher DPS than Disfavour assuming RT?
We miss alot of Bleeding (wich this builds plays around "crimson") without Atziris Disfavour. Id get my hands on kaoms, devotos and yea atziri would probably the best purchase next or a daressos. Depends, i havent got atziris in a long time, i was just playing with a rare 6 linked weapon and still played all up till guardians with ease.
i play the alkaizer cyclone (elemental) build right now with hatred and taste of hate etc, would it be worth to swap to full phys? how are the two specs compared dps wise?
alkaizer cyc is better way for cyclone.....with just 8 stack bleed....cyclone base damage is not good for crimson bleed...even save some bleed passive points..this build still perform the same with using the fuking disfavor axe....sunder (or something else) base damage is better for doing bleed as main thing.
okey i get it , im new on this game and i get oni gorochi just because i gas farming tabula in acueducts , if this builds us usseles for oni gorochi can you make a good one ? if that to much problem and time can you at least give some advice about how to use the sword, i have looked a lots of videos but in mos is like the sword is usseles
There are quite a ton of Oni Builds out there :) I personally have never tested the weapons so I can barely give you any advice on it :/ but if you search for Oni Builds you will surely find something useful :)

VAAL PACT IS OPTIONAL. AhFack is playing this at endgame, and not using it. However, use your best judgement. If you'd like to use Vaal Pact, just regret away the 3 leech nodes shown in the picture and pick VP. Do what feels best for you and your playstyle. For Uber Elder he recommends Vaal Pact. And yes, it doubles the dmg of the Retch, essentially.

NOW it says that, since 3.2 - the Video was originally made in 3.0 and edited for 3.1 - i pinned the comment that there are only minor changes for 3.2 and that we got buffed :)
Bleeding is very important because of Crimson Dance but hey, when I couldn't afford Atziris, I played with a 6 Linked Rare Axe without bleeding aswell. I just took the additional +15% bleed Chance on the Notes we skip with Disfavour.
Just killed shaper with this build no issues in Abyss. Loving it. edit: I use a 6L Belly with Ancestral Warchief to make all the boss fights easier. Works pretty damn well, and would be a pretty solid hc option.
Would it be possible to corrupt insanity gloves looking for vuln on hit? Or would they be real costly :o Trying to give room for a CwDT/IC Also what would be the best way to get a +1 Curse salute? Buy them non corrupt at 4-5 C and Vaal them? What is BiS helmet enchant? Curse effectiveness or IAS/Dmg? And is Conc. Effect better then chance to bleed gem possibly? Love the build btw, just hard to debate which items/links to go for.
Enchant: Cyclone Dmg. And yea, buying normal Daressos and vaal them would be the best way. There was one with +1 curse but cost 20 ex lol It's a gamble tough. well if you are able to get those, you could definatly do that.
Uhm, I mean you can definatly try it with marauder if you are to lazy to lvl up a Slayer, I just want to say that Slayer is the best Choice for it. I play an Ele Cyclone Raider and you could get a ngahmus fire berserker running.
Isn't it like on everything you buy? Why taking 3x 40 res if 3x 30 res is cheaper? why not even go 2x 30 instead and safe up some chaos. It's all about perfection right? We need life-leach and we need a TON since the slayer nerfs in 3.1. All small things count together is a huge thing, don't you think?
well question is why do we need that much life leech? You can't even run reflect maps anyway. Also why no vaal pact then? Why not haemophilia gloves???
You can put those mods on at masters. They aren't hard to get. And They max out ay 0.4 Not 0.2. That's as good as nodes on the tree since we're Pure phys.
We're not getting leech in order to do reflect maps. We invest substantially in leech ovetall in order to better sustain our survivability as well as our mana. Read the written guide. VP is optional, however I prefer a good combination of regen and leech for multiple reasons: for example, we can run blood rage without our life going down at all. This is a big deal for those that use damage on full life.
ive been told damage on full life works even when life ball starts to drop; but anyway i am using vaal pact with bloodrage and ball absolutely never drops from 100%, and even less when u start using cyclone
Yeah :) I used to play it as a League starter with a rare 6l weapon, or before with Tabula and a max dps weapon. Awesome for the first maps untill Guardians.
I need help with this build , I have 6 link 606pdps atziri disfavor and same rings with flat damage belt and amulet the same top gloves dual leech and attack speed , same gems and 20% quality but I only have 106k unbuffed dps and leech isn’t enough I keep dying please help I’m level 90

Glad you like it :) Well cyclone isnt a pure dps glas cannon build with a trillion dps, we got high Survivability and can do all content.

If Slayer is a better Option than Marauder, there is (for me) no sense of making a Marauder Cyclone Guide. Id go with Nghamus Cyclone :D

Hey nice build! I'm actually running it in Abyss league and things are going pretty well so far with cheap gear.
I'm using a Doedre's to get +1 curses and using Enfeeble and Vulneravility, would you recommend this or should i switch to just Vulneravility and get a better ring to max out my resistances (66, 75, 50 res atm)? Does enfeeble compensate the lack of res or better to get full res maxed out first?
Well maxing out res is important but I played the same way as you did and didnt really had a hard time with doedres ring.
Is it allowed in berserker too?

You can do it with whatever you want but we want as much leech as we can get so Slayer is definatly a way to go here :)
Hello i got some question - Darreso devoution with 1 additional curse cant be matched this league in my case - 30 ex is just too much..
Would carnage with 1 curse work or what would you sugguest ?

Can I use vaal pact? Can I use belly of the beast+ carnage heart+ deceiver in the early game? Can I sacrifice some damage for more survivability? Can I spend passive points on fortify? Can I use a 500+ dps 2H axe before I get atziri's disfavor? LOL, so many questions.
You can use all of them BECAUSE this Build doesn't have Build Enabling Items. Means, it willl still work without Atziris, no Cycloner is born with it :P Kaoms is just the best Armor for 2h RT, if you cant afford it, take something else untill. :)
One question. U said PoB doesn't calculate properly cyclone's dps, how do you know that?

hmh ok. Hab aber gerade ein anderes dummes PRoblem. Ich habe das Build wie in deinem Guide gebaut (Halt keine Mirror Items, da ich auf Abyss spiele) Das Mappen ist easy as fuck, jedoch bei den Minotaur z.B werden ich geoneshottet. Ich weiß nicht wieso das so ist, aber es ist bisschen belastend.^^ (Habe bisher 2 Two-Stone rings und benutze noch keine Ventors. Was kann ich noch machen? DEin Skilltree ist einwenig anders aber anhand deiner Items seh ich, das du zuwenig Life hast. Deine Juwelen sind auch sehr dürftig... du solltest überall 7% max life drauf haben, zudem fehlen dir Juwelen Slots. DU könntest da locker 6k-7k life rausholen.
Hmh. ok. Und um weniger Schaden zu bekommen kann ich was tun? Ich habe ja den Skilltree so gemacht wie er sein soll(laut deinem guide) Ich wüsste jetzt nicht was ich rausnehmen könnte :o

Vaal Cyclone isnt worth it, I played with it myself but you get locked down in place and you cannot stop it untill its done. Killed me several times :D
I have a ~10ex budget starting out, what do you recommend as my first expensive purchase? I'm in softcore and I already have a Kaoms Heart. Should I get a Disfavour immediately?
Edit: also, would Starforge achieve higher DPS than Disfavour assuming RT?
We miss alot of Bleeding (wich this builds plays around "crimson") without Atziris Disfavour. Id get my hands on kaoms, devotos and yea atziri would probably the best purchase next or a daressos. Depends, i havent got atziris in a long time, i was just playing with a rare 6 linked weapon and still played all up till guardians with ease.
i play the alkaizer cyclone (elemental) build right now with hatred and taste of hate etc, would it be worth to swap to full phys? how are the two specs compared dps wise?
alkaizer cyc is better way for cyclone.....with just 8 stack bleed....cyclone base damage is not good for crimson bleed...even save some bleed passive points..this build still perform the same with using the fuking disfavor axe....sunder (or something else) base damage is better for doing bleed as main thing.
heya budy one question is posible to adapt this build for a oni gorochi sword?
We are RT (Resolute Techniquie) means we don't need Accuracy but can't crit. Oni has quite some Crit on it and that stat would be completely useless.
okey i get it , im new on this game and i get oni gorochi just because i gas farming tabula in acueducts , if this builds us usseles for oni gorochi can you make a good one ? if that to much problem and time can you at least give some advice about how to use the sword, i have looked a lots of videos but in mos is like the sword is usseles
There are quite a ton of Oni Builds out there :) I personally have never tested the weapons so I can barely give you any advice on it :/ but if you search for Oni Builds you will surely find something useful :)

I noticed u dont take vaal pact, wouldnt it be much more beneficial to take this because of the retch, it would double chaos dmg basically?
VAAL PACT IS OPTIONAL. AhFack is playing this at endgame, and not using it. However, use your best judgement. If you'd like to use Vaal Pact, just regret away the 3 leech nodes shown in the picture and pick VP. Do what feels best for you and your playstyle. For Uber Elder he recommends Vaal Pact. And yes, it doubles the dmg of the Retch, essentially.

Chaos damage is not elemental damage. If you have all elemental resistance, will you get chaos resistance aswell? No :)

I played with Doedres Damning since I haven't been lucky to grab a +1 Daressos. So I took a regular one to run dual-curse with +1 Ring.

Ofcourse you use the 500 Life Kaom's :) It's the best armor for 2H RT Builds!

NOW it says that, since 3.2 - the Video was originally made in 3.0 and edited for 3.1 - i pinned the comment that there are only minor changes for 3.2 and that we got buffed :)

Is it 100% necessary to have the chance to bleed on the weapon, or can I go for a 750+ dps axe if I can get it?
Bleeding is very important because of Crimson Dance but hey, when I couldn't afford Atziris, I played with a 6 Linked Rare Axe without bleeding aswell. I just took the additional +15% bleed Chance on the Notes we skip with Disfavour.

Just killed shaper with this build no issues in Abyss. Loving it. edit: I use a 6L Belly with Ancestral Warchief to make all the boss fights easier. Works pretty damn well, and would be a pretty solid hc option.

Id say Kaom since HP = Survivability and if you got a million dps but you die every second, the million dps wont bring anything.

Enchant: Cyclone Dmg. And yea, buying normal Daressos and vaal them would be the best way. There was one with +1 curse but cost 20 ex lol It's a gamble tough. well if you are able to get those, you could definatly do that.

Uhm, I mean you can definatly try it with marauder if you are to lazy to lvl up a Slayer, I just want to say that Slayer is the best Choice for it. I play an Ele Cyclone Raider and you could get a ngahmus fire berserker running.

why would 0,2 life or even mana leech on gloves be that important? also considering the difficulty getting those for.. what?
Isn't it like on everything you buy? Why taking 3x 40 res if 3x 30 res is cheaper? why not even go 2x 30 instead and safe up some chaos. It's all about perfection right? We need life-leach and we need a TON since the slayer nerfs in 3.1. All small things count together is a huge thing, don't you think?
well question is why do we need that much life leech? You can't even run reflect maps anyway. Also why no vaal pact then? Why not haemophilia gloves???
You can put those mods on at masters. They aren't hard to get. And They max out ay 0.4 Not 0.2. That's as good as nodes on the tree since we're Pure phys.
We're not getting leech in order to do reflect maps. We invest substantially in leech ovetall in order to better sustain our survivability as well as our mana. Read the written guide. VP is optional, however I prefer a good combination of regen and leech for multiple reasons: for example, we can run blood rage without our life going down at all. This is a big deal for those that use damage on full life.
ive been told damage on full life works even when life ball starts to drop; but anyway i am using vaal pact with bloodrage and ball absolutely never drops from 100%, and even less when u start using cyclone

Yeah :) I used to play it as a League starter with a rare 6l weapon, or before with Tabula and a max dps weapon. Awesome for the first maps untill Guardians.
I need help with this build , I have 6 link 606pdps atziri disfavor and same rings with flat damage belt and amulet the same top gloves dual leech and attack speed , same gems and 20% quality but I only have 106k unbuffed dps and leech isn’t enough I keep dying please help I’m level 90
