+Aaron Gross Yes it's always good value. They do well to balance the parity in the series so that it comes down much more to driver talent than who has the bigger budget to spend on handling balance and set-up...
this is how you sell cars; you race them, build a following, and hope that succes(es) on a racetrack translate to sales in the showroom. Yes, race cars are different than their showroom counterparts, but the whole point of racing is to build some sort of brand following along with developing drivers for future opportunities in different classes, but this is awesome grassroots, entry level stuff that should get people excited about owning/buying and 86/BRZ...as racing parts can trickle into the street market. MX-5 cup is the same way, a nice entry level series to get people started, but another build excitement in a brand/car; hence why you don't see a Mazda3 or Mazda6 cup; just the MX-5. However, I'd love seeing the '3 and '6 get involved in touring car racing.
I feel a bit sorry for Cameron Hill there, it looks to me like he just made a small mistake that let Aaron Seton get his nose inside and then tried to close the gap too late. Still, lesson learned and little damage done which is all good...
i love toyota 86 racing.

Was the contact at 19:09 investigated afterwards?
+Cesar86 I believe so and I'm pretty sure Aaron Seton copped a bump to the back of the grid for the next race...
Southern Star should use another name, southern synonymous with losing, just remember the Civil war.
Slowest race ever
