MESSAGE FROM 2021: During my time in Myanmar, I saw plenty of amazing sights, but there was one constant: the people. Always smiling, always kind and always welcoming. I’ve never known hospitality like it in all of my travels… But these kind people are currently being denied basic rights by an evil military junta who refuse to recognise democracy. Protesters are being detained and everyone is under a full internet blackout. I stand with the people of Myanmar against this oppression 🇲🇲
More like Mount Poopa AMARIIIIIGHT?! 💩😂 Thanks for watching another Myanmar episode! If you want any information about the hotel we stayed in, make sure check out the video description. I’m currently working on the FINAL episode of the Myanmar series, so keep an eye out for that in the coming week or so. PS I’m trying to get to 5000 subs by the end of the year, so if you haven't already, please hit the red button ;)
You can also hike the main mountain @ 5:40. The wind is crazy there and you can touch and breath the clouds. There is also some stairs at the peak which leads to the radio station where they control the radio and tv channels within their range. I have been there as a school trip twice and it is my favourite place. I won't reject to hike mount poppa for the third time.
Was a beautiful place, even though it involved some pooh dodging!! Oh yeah, you got to spoil yourself every once in a while. Great room dudes. Keep rocking it Ryan.
Ahh, Mount Popa, what a great name! We didn't make it up there on our trip but it sure does seem worthwhile. The accommodation looked great...and pricey 🤪 Who doesn't love having out with our furry primates, right?! Great edit and even better shots as always! Thanks for sharing!
I was fortunate to travel around Myanmar back in 2017. I wanted to visit Mt Popa but didn't have enough time in the end. I had no idea there were resorts around there but I plan to go again later this year. I will certainly stay in your resort here. I love your story telling, it is what keeps me so engaged with all your videos!
Those views from your villa are incredible!!! Also 800 steps of monkies lol - so many and yeah not sure how i'd feel about walking without shoes on there lol
Oh my gosh, having to walk barefoot amongst monkey poo sounds like a nightmare! But it looks like a fun experience, haha :) Your accommodation is gorgeous. If I went to Mount Popa, I would definitely stay there!
You are right, it is probably not worth climbing to the monastery. But that views and sunrises from your pool were really gorgeous:) Were you not afraid of the monkeys? They seem a bit aggressive.
Thanks for opening the video with airing dharma. 👍👍👍 (it’s not a prayer tho, as you mentioned in the middle of the video). And it’s funny you and all tourists complain about the sanitary. I, myself, do. Great video.
Woah I can't believe the whole climb only took 1 hour I went there before and it was pack with people and we didn't even finish half way and it took up more then 2 hour so we gave up
Guys, how can you only have 4k subs. This is in any way less of a travel documentary as something you would expect from a real tv station. In your case, with the accent, probably BBC... :) Congratulations. We are planning to go to Thailand for a month. What would be the one city or are you would recommend? Cheers
@@OneShotAdventures we are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 7 and 10. No need for nightlife as they are always in bed at 9 oclock. 😊 We dont need to work. Maybe some videocalls. And nature is what we love. Hiking and sea. Thank you for you help
Chiang Mai is a great city for nature and culture, I love it there - but no sea! I hear that Koh Lanta is a very nice island. Relaxed and not too overcrowded. We loved Koh Phangnan as well. It has a reputation as a party island, but that's only in one small part of it. The rest is very relaxed 😊
Really honest review, I think people will appreciate it! I think I'd like to follow your advice; I will come for the view, stay at the same resort (looked amazing) and skip the climb. I would stop at the foot anyways with so many monkeys around. They freak me out! Not only that, walking bare feet. No, I'll pass.
Mount monkey poopa. It looks from a distance as Sigiriya rock in Sri Lanka which also looked better from a distance as on being on top as well. How expensive was that ridiculous resort?
Depends on the time of year, but our room was just under £100 for the night. You can get other rooms in the sam resort for £50, but we really wanted that view!
Been there. Mt Popa Resort was great. The monkey poop at the temple didn’t bother me so much at the table. Also, if you go, don’t forget to tip the guys cleaning up the poop. Unfortunately I don’t think it’s appropriate to visit Burma as long as the current regime is in power though.
I love how the Nat and Buddhist beliefs in Myanmar have fused together. I chose not to visit Mt Poopa, and you've just confirmed why! 🐒💩 That said, your footage is BEAUTIFUL and as always marries with the music fantastically. Have you done something different with colour grading? I'm loving the tones and feel. 😀
@@OneShotAdventures I think possibly also just the underlying colours and light in Bagan and around. Looked like a touch more magenta to me, which really worked with the footage :D
April says you are one of very few people allowed to say "poo" instead of "poop" because of your accent, LOL. She always gets on my case when I call it "poo" instead of "poop"! Wow, those views from the resort are epic! You can PM me to say how much it cost... 😇 We see what you mean about the views of the monastery being better than the actual monastery experience... What was the best part of the trip (aside from the resort) for y'all?
Um, I think you chose EXACTLY the right accommodation - it's beautiful! What a view. And LOOOOOL Mount Poopa. I love me a good poop joke. 😂😂😂😂 But seriously. So much poop!
Do you know there a secret room inside the Shwedagon Pagoda Underground he Shwedagon. Pagoda In World War 2 the UK try to get inside and try to take God Golds inside that room but they did see any room there god Gold inside that room when long long ago one man name Mung Kain He try to get those God Gold and He turned into Stone people said god did that and that Stone human body still stack inside that room
Never knew about this temple the views definitely worth it. I can understand how you must have felt having piss and poo on your feet, eww. But in monasteries and temples, the shoes are not allowed. Anyhow the views are really beautiful, especially from the pool.

@@lipolydolance3269 Actually no! Try again ;)
@@OneShotAdventures Maybe Mandalay or Pyin Oo Lwin🤔?
I don't know
Just tell me😅
@@lipolydolance3269 Haha, the next episode is about our 12 hour cruise down the Irawaddy River from Bagan to Mandalay :)

I recommend you. Next visit to Chin Sate. Bro 🇲🇲
Next you should visit Mogok
My favorite quote "so much poo". But, seriuosly, it looks incredible. The view from the balcony at the villa in insane! BTW -- you have a great voice!
