    *Excelente kit **MyBest.Tools** suficiente mente potente y ligero. la luz incorporada en el taladro es muy superior a versiones anteriores que se encuentra cerca del broquero.*

      That is awesome! I have no doubt that this new version of Craftsman tools under the Stanley B&D will only get better. This impact and the brushless drill made in the USA are great tools!

      Just bought the US-made CMCF820 today. Also recently got the US-made CMCD720. Looking forward to being able to use them both outside.

    I own a stair restoration company and i use the V20 series all of the time. The nail guns are great, the drills are great too. The new brushless reciprocal and circular saw are solid too. I just with they had a brushless jigsaw (their current v20 jig is weak) and a cordless router. I use them everyday and never had an issue. (By the way, the bigger the battery, the stronger they are. I have a 9amp and its awesome)

      That cool! Thanks for leaving the comment. Do you have a website for your business? Would like to check it out. Also, I am testing the brushless hammer drill for a new video and when I use the 2ah battery and the 2.5 inch hole saw it stalls out and the battery seems to drain really fast. Do you think I should get a bigger battery for a fair test? It rocks with anything smaller just that hole saw it struggles with.

      @@WadeofAllTrades stairheros.com is the our site. The batteries do make a big difference (even though they're only suppose to help by lasting longer, they give more power). Im not sure if everytime you go bigger (amp wise) it gets more and more powerful, but I do know that the 2amp doesn't show what the tool is totally capable of.

      Just this Christmas got several things on the V20 line for the first time, and picked up a CMCF820 today. Plan to use both that and the CMCD720 drill on big upcoming projects this spring. Both have incredible build quality. Got two vacuums around the house on the V20 line also, the stick vac and the hand vac. So far been very satisfied with everything. It’s a solid line of power tools.

    Both craftsman and dewalt are owned by Stanley/black&Decker. Im sure the same engineers are working on both brands. I think craftsman is coming back to the glory it once had. Thank god

    I've used a lot of different brands in my line of work but Craftsman out shines them all. Maybe its because of my fondness for Craftsman (family and work history with it) but these reviews are proving that it's not just bias.

    Try different speeds with any drill bits. Speed can make all the difference in the world with drill bits. I have this impact driver and I absolutely love it. I added a crazy 9.0 ah Craftsman brand name battery, new in ebay for $80. It's insane how long you can work and get things done with this. My only gripe as a DIY home user, this as with all new drills and impact drivers, no longer have a clip or holder on the side. If you want one, you can get a freaky one that screws on where the belt clip goes, but it's just not the same

    The craftsman brushless drill also has better specs than the DeWalt XR drill. I have the craftsman drill, impact, and just about all their other v20 tools. They are all great with the exception of the orbital sander. It'll vibrate your hand off. My Porter cable orbital is much smoother.
    Correction: There are 2 versions of craftsman and DeWalt. One says " made in the USA with global materials and the other is just made in China. Both USA versions have better speeds and more power output. What I saw earlier was that the USA craftsman has better specs than the china DeWalt but it's just barely below the USA DeWalt. But either way I have the made in USA craftsman and it's a great drill

    It says 2800 rpm but I'll guarantee it's the same as the dewalt because it seems to me they just say it's slower so they think it less than the dewalt that's why it cost less

    I bought this driver a couple of months ago and couldn't believe the power vs my old B&D drills (cordless and corded).
    My only "however" has nothing to do with Craftsman, but with impact drivers in general - they're almost too powerful. I'm driving screws in too far and rounding off heads and bits like crazy. A torque-limiting chuck on a drill is much better for ham-fisted idiots like me..
    However, in favour of impact drivers: they are an unbeatable demolition/deconstruction tool.

  • @grant6985

    I heard that impact drivers aren't made for drilling as they don't provide continuous torque like a regular drill does?

    • @WadeofAllTrades
      @WadeofAllTrades  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s right. It will drill a hole if you need it too. Just use bit with a hex end. It just depends on what material you are drilling. But if you need to put the occasional hole in wood then the impact will do just fine.

    • @assortedvendor5168
      @assortedvendor5168 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glenn Rubel, yes that's right!!! As a Professional Contractor, Handyman, Licensed Home Builder, Electrician, HVAC system, Plumber, Woodworker and Welder you should not use a Impact Driver in a Drilling jobs especially Paddlebits or Speedbor. You should use a regular drill/driver or a Hammer Drill for a heavy duty drilling. You can drill a pilot hole for screws or framing/deck screws since you can use a hex head drill bits but that's about it! Impact Drivers are meant for Driving screws, deck and framing screws, or construction lag screws, except the 1/2" and above lag bolts I use my DeWalt dcf894 (mid-range 1/2inch Impact Wrench) for that specific type of job! That's why the old saying always works! "Only use the Right Tool for the right job!" I have my DeWalt dcf888 for 4 years now and never had any problems or issues, got my dcf809 and 801 too. And now I'm looking and might consider to purchase this Craftsman Brushless 3 Speed Impact Driver to replace my Ryobi P237 3 Speed Brushed 1/4" Impact Driver because I smoked that driver in the jobsite many many times and I know that driver is about to go anytime soon hell I'm still using it even though I have my Hitachi Triple Hammer Multi-Volt Brushless Impact Driver for a backup tool in my jobsite. I'm impressed on this Craftsman! I saw the video of the VCG guys and this Craftsman survived the brutal and extreme torture test against the DeWalt dcf887. Now Craftsman is pretty clear that they're now making good stuffs! And I don't think that this tool is a DIY tool. I'll find out once I purchased and used it!
