This trick works for every car with a remote entry button. The trick is: press the button at the exact right second. I tried to lock it up an I only beeped an alarm and wouldn’t lock. I found that my wife had left her fob in her purse. The doors won’t lock from the touch sensor if there is a fob in the car. That prevents you from locking yourself out of the car.
There’s a quicker way. You look into the rearview mirror on the driver side. Blink four times and the doors will open automatically.Providing you have someone offscreen push the unlock button.
