I have watched a few other "content creators" who have complained that Call of The Mountain has too much climbing and yet they raved about The Climb 1&2. How many mechs did you kill in The Climb guys? Yeah, none, as all you did was climb and yet you were happy with that. Thank you Wolf for continually appreciating the landscape. I have no doubt that countless hours went into creating those vistas. Appreciation is warranted.
I have been thinking about this a lot, thing is they haven't added any peril/game elements to the climbing in COTM. I think it would have improved the game a lot if they took some elements of the Climb games, so different routes, chalk, time outs etc. As it is you just climb around doing what you want. I have only fallen twice and they were both fumbling with grabbing axes etc.
I find this statement to be very amusing. A game called “the climb” is obviously about climbing, so yeah they like the climbing aspect. Quite obvious. This game here is not! Called “the climb”. If you every played the earlier horizon game there is far less climbing (almost none). Horizon is considered adventure action game yet this here is mostly just climbing… While this game looks stunning… the action seems very boring. Just teleport speed staffing left or right. Most of the battles are very easy. This is mostly eye candy soft adventure..
not the only one saying this- but the little circle for the elemental stuff needs to be 100% full for the effect to happen! Also, when you're done, or on another episode, could you check out the machine safari, if it's not just the opening cutscene again verbatim? thanks so much wolf!

@@peytonmac1131 for me absolutely, Im a HUUGE Horizon fan, the Forbidden West the reason I bought a ps5, and amazed by that game, its stuning! For me, Horizon is the best game ever made 🥰
They are fun there’s 2 each has dlc and this is the vr one. If you want the story go in order horizon zero dawn first then forbidden west also the dlc for both games are really really good so I recommend getting them and after you play through the main story do new game plus for new weapons and armor to make some sick set ups

I'm currently playing through this and having a blast. Your reactions to everything around you just makes me want to play it more, especially as you spin the gear. My only question is this: Do I finish watching the vid, or do I play? Tough choice, but I'm ready to play.
Shadows of the Colossus in VR, has to happen, someone pass-it-on to someone of influence; also in this game with sufficient IRL hand speeds any climbing can be done one-handed relying on in-game-inertia to throw ones' self toward the next hand-hold.
Wolf is my Main VR gamer to watch Dude is hella funny with his clips like Golem saying "Murderer" totally cracks me up. Plus him knowing the exact names of the machines and a true van of the franchise just makes me respect him more. Keep it up fam🔥

You’re only getting the status effects to like 90% you have to actually completely fill the circle for the status effect to work.
