This is the first time I had a fun time watching a Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora video 1. He doesn’t say, avatar, blue people, he say’s actually, Na’vi 2. He understands the story and narrated it perfectly 3. He doesn’t make stupid jokes on the game 4. He actually seems to enjoy the game 5. I really love this game despite all the negative comments about it. I had such a BLAST with the story and now when in the endgame, I find the game relaxing. Avatar Froniters of Pandora has been a game I've been asking for since I saw the first movie. It brings me joy to see other people talking about their positive experiences and to watch someone enjoy the ride rather than knickpicking every little rhng.
This game is honestly amazing! The story itself really hits home both emotionally and puts you on the edge of your seat at times with the twists and turns. Not only that the game also feels and plays outstanding! Haven’t really touched the game since January/February seeing as end game as of now before dlc 1 is mainly side quests(a majority of em before I took a break bugged.) and rda drop zone/base/depot hunting/exploration which is honestly not a bad thing. Beyond that though the game is very relaxing once you hit post game as ya said, despite not having much content in terms of post game overall the game has a lot to go off of for collectibles, side quests, gear/Weapon upgrades and daily/Weekly challenges for some more unique cosmetics that you can pay for if you so wish. I could go on about the game overall though since having owned and played since Christmas day of last year, I am very satisfied with the game, not just as a avatar fan but also as a gamer!
Yeah the negative comments are just the basic Ubi haters who havent played the game at all. I just bought the ultimate Edition on PS5 after trying it in Uplay+
Finally someone who gives this game the respect it deserves. You actually understand the meaning behind it, thank you so much for that breath of fresh air. Also the correct pronunciations. I’m sick of hearing the Na’vi called ‘blue people’ or ‘blue cats’

This game just feels good. I like the story, and I do really like that grinding is just living as a Na'vi. Foraging, crafting, and hunting just make me really happy as someone who wants to be immersed in this world.
I have hundreds of hours in this game, I've replayed the story countless times and have done all the quests but I never found myself interested in videos of it outside of the occasional tutorial, but this has completely yoinked my attention. Your voiceover and the way of your storytelling alongside the comments you make are really fun to watch, I'm not that far into the video but I'm definitely sitting through the entire thing :D
To see someone doing a 100 days of this game makes me unbelievably happy. This game healed me in ways I cannot explain. I have over 250 hours and one save file I have the main game platinum and I'm on my way to platinuming the DLCs. I have an addiction to this game that makes me not even want to play Hogwarts legacy, which is also really good and I'm a massive Potter fan so that tells you just how life-changing this game was it. It connects me to this world that I have been addicted to since the moment. I saw the 2009 movie and this man gives this game the time of day that it truly deserves. It has its bugs but there is so much detail and so much life and the things that they tried to that. I'm willing to put those bugs aside because the game really is just that good
I have been a hard core fan of Avatar since that first movie in 2009 and when they announced this game I had super low expectations, but was so happy it turned out great IMO. Agreed, all games have their bugs here and there but most games these days dont run half as good as this (or look it). I appreciate you!
6:00 honestly, i'll use the arrows on the mech suits but i'll run at the humans and oneshot punch them since its fun and doesnt waste my arrows. you saying " go to sleep" was pretty much me too! XD

There is however some very nice rewards if you do take these bigger bases without being seen and have the enemy alerted. Though if you get detected and kill the enemy that is about to alert (it takes them some time to inform the reinforcements) than you are still safe and you get to go into one of their loot rooms that you can't get into when you are seen and they alerted reinforcements. Because the reinforcements than take the extra loot with them.
@@NickG100 When I played it the first time, I was so blown away by the world and also the stories, and the nice side quests, I forgot leveling the equipment en par. At least exploring every edge of the world, I found all the bell trees and tarsyu plants. Nonetheless, I was under powered a lot, and bringing down bases without alert was more difficult before the update. So I ground through many bases, the hard way. Thereby "hey human gear", I got decent gear, i.e. killing this first ugly feral Thanator with a good shotgun, but my bows were low grade, and distance fighting out of sneaky places requires the heavy bow. Mode my live harder then required. At least, by doing all the clan favor things, I got some decent Navi gear too, but rather late in the Kinglor forest. Then I realized, crafting decent weapons helps a lot, search the exquisite raw materials, have fun not adequately powered. Still, in the high plains, there are things to do, hard. A lv. 19 Base at lv. 15... Bur most of this base is automated turrets, go slow and steady, unseen, earn the best of all shotguns. Boosting you a full level forward. Later on, you learn to really go to badass material... In the second run now I did something else. Starting to craft immediately, and even for low quality recipes, only go with best raw material, search exquisite. It is incredible, how your level skyrocket. Being well into the game, controls, aiming, helps too. Most cases = overpowered. And sneaky became easier, kind of standard success now, further improving the gear. But... Most things this run, I did craft myself. Buying mostly the nice and cool additional boosts to the equipment. Leaving to the Zeswa plains at lv. 14, and even not everything in the Kinglor forest explored was fun. Going for the crafting skill tree in a run. Oh, and with these nice challenges you can get from this foreign Na'Vi at the Ikran place of the Kinglor tree, you can buy blade wing moth wings. And with these you can improve your raw material quality. Walkign into the borderlands to the Kamen'tire forests you can harvest low quality branches, you need exquisite for the Mastercraft er challenge. So do the trick. Become Mastercraft er early in the high plains. Recraft all your goods. And... Lv. 17 in an instant. So now it's time to visit the lv 19 base stalking, to get the shotgun, bringing you to lv. 18, and then erase the bloody laser thing in the Kinglor forest, some more special gear, almost lv. 19. The one or other recipe for crafting you get at the Sarentu totems. And quite some skill points readily but into damage dealing and health. And hey, at the party, just before the surprise attack, mit lv. 19. Oh, this helps a lot fleeing the imprisonment, and then taking some revenge, during the next steps. It is rather easy to leave the area, with all of the RDA eliminated. Even then, some nice additional gear right after. And besinde crafting, I rapidly got the skill of extracting spare parts from destroyed amps. So I had Avery thing to buy, I want. Now almost lv. 20 topped out, before meeting the Kamen'tire. And soon I'll get some more recipes, and then harvesting goods, yeah. But with the right food before, boosting the quality 20% over the max. It is somewhat nice to feel like. Neytiri or Jake when going into Attack Mode.
set the setting to easy, make sure you use you're sid hack to help take down mecs ect. you can go into settings and make sid hack automatically makes it easier, make sure you're weapons and armour are high level 👌 and sneak if you can and use heavy bow they are o.p good luck
Love this video. The game is a bit hard for me, but it’s really fun to watch your take on the characters progression. Since our character starts the game knowing as much as the player (very little) your commentary is perfect.
Favorite way of mine for the larger outposts relies on SID. Sneaking undetected and downing few enemies in my path and hacking each objective and storing each hack. Then executing all at once. The looks i imagine on the RDA's faces when everything is fine. Then everything is exploding and going down. Priceless.
If you're ever looking to playthrough this again (or if anyone just wants some tips after watching this playthrough) just know that the gear you craft (regarding bows/spears/outfits) are usually better than the stuff you can "buy" using the spare parts or clan favor. Great ways to earn clan favor are of course by doing the clan contributions but also the side quests helps a ton! Cooking different combinations of food gets you different boosts and I particularly like the sneaky and fleet footed boosts as they help a lot in getting clean and merciful kills while hunting. Take your time while hunting, crouch down, and being downwind from an animal actually does make a difference in this game. Carefully aim at their weakspots as they tend to glow a yellow color while using your Na'vi senses. On the larger RDA bases my favorite tactic is to circle the perimeter on the high wall, taking out any non AMP suits along the way (ie soldiers, soldier elites, snipers, etc) as they tend to give me way more trouble than the AMP suits. You can use SiD to hack the AMP suits and then once they're hacked you can use your Ejector skill to one shot them. AMP suits with armour protecting their glass plate will need to be broken first before ejecting them. Once you've taken out all the lowly soldiers then go around and start taking out the more in the way AMP suits. You can usually sneak around most of them by just getting high up and then using SiD on them. Lots of the bigger bases have these cables/wires that string from the top of different tower or admin areas that you can jump on top of and use to get around without being spotted. My typical weapon load out includes Spear Thrower, Heavy Bow, Short Bow, and Staff Sling as I can always craft more ammo for them while guns I have to search out ammo cases for. I don't tend to use the Long Bow unless I'm hunting. Those playing the game for the first time I highly recommend you complete an area entirely before moving on to the next, I know it may feel slow but I promise that completing all the side quests, main quests, and taking down the RDA bases in one area before moving on will prevent you from constantly feeling underlevled in the next area. Get all the bellsprings, tarsyu saplings, and everything done. Lots of the quests reward you with gear, weapons, mods, food, or new recipes. Remember that some side quests do get blocked off if you don't complete them within a certain time frame of the story quest and you won't be able to access them later.

Playinf it the second time now, not to get rusty, before the DLC. The first time I was underpowered quite too. This time I spent time in gathering best resources and crafting early. Pays off to be almost lv. 20 before even entering the Kamen'tire land.
Pandora is one of the best video game worlds I had the pleasure of exploring. This was a great video. It would be awesome if you did another for the upcoming expansions too. One comes out in just over a week from when I’m writing this comment! Also, I think you’d love Grounded based on your other survival game content. Just a suggestion, but it’s one of my favorite games.

If you take out an RDA base quietly, you'll be rewarded with better and more loot in the room. There is also a skill that gives you a chance of getting spere parts from looting RDA mechs. And dont waste your spere parts on special ammo. Most of the time, if you take down a base thats your lvl, normal arrows will be enough to clear it quietly and quickly. Have fun
I started this game soon after release and then randomly stopped as life got busy. I only went back to it at the beginning of this summer and restarted it. I’ve finished now and I’m so glad I went back to it. Despite the criticism I love the game and am glad to play a videogame in the world of Pandora since I love the avatar movies so much
My favorite part about this game is you were frozen for 16 years so you should basically have the mind of a child but you go on a murder spree instead😂
I so want to try out this game! I decided to do a little pre-research beforehand of purchasing it. This video in particular was absolutley amazing! Defiantly purchasing as a huge avatar fan.
For anyone discovering the game, i advise you the stealth approach on big base, more loot at the end RDA room, more immersive, more damage, more lore accurate of Na'vi fight style

I’m 90% through the story but I can’t stop doing side quests and hunting and just flying and harvesting I absolutely love this game! How did you do the RDA drill mission? It says that I’m at 87% right now but the mission where you have a 4 minute download on a computer after destroying the RDA drill is kicking my butt, did you just get lucky or what strategy did you use to complete it
Definitely do the side quests, unfortunately some quest disappear if u progress too far into the main story. Best to get them done first before finishing the story in order to avoid the quests disappearing, once they are gone you can’t complete them. I’ve finished the game twice and am trying to find all the side quests I missed. Ofc my exception to that is to do the main quests until you get the ikran.

yes, in the 2nd film there's reference to this. They can for I think like an hour without using a rebreather. The Avatars though (like Alma) were bioengineered to be able to breathe human air for longer.
After you get your ikran and let you roam the game, i side tracked so heavy, once i came back to the quests, i walked tru it like a hot knife tru warm butter 😂 This game was the most fun cake walk ever! You dont need to craft shit except for quests. Just buy whats available and blast your way tru the game (shotgun is OP) once you get the 4 xtra lifes from skill tree and the 250 damage shotgun every compound is eazy.
The "it's just a far cry reskin!!" arguments are so stupid, just because a game has 1st person shooting doesn't mean it the same thing as another game. AFOP is unique in lots of ways and is a great game despite some flaws like performance and buggy vents, it's a dream come true for avatar fans and the people crying that the game is doo doo caca far cry 13 clearly don't care enough to at least watch some gameplay. ok my rant is over the video is great!

@40:57 yeah noticed you kept rushing into fighting on the bases and I’ve only been playing a week but learned how to take em out is patience and strategy
I literally have taken over an hour but do not usually end up detected and get major loot for it. You take out some of the torrent secretly following the walls slowly as you use Navi vision. Learned hard way if you don’t take your time you’ll get caught by the torrents quick. I take a few minutes to use Navi vision from a back door of wall that isn’t as heavily guarded. Memorize the soldiers patterns in patrol in their sections especially where some may meet one another so then take them out where whichever I do take out the others won’t see their bodies. In case they suits are higher than I am I’d search for hidden close enough place to scan them from above with light being detected. Then when time was right activate the hack and shoot their weak spot to one hit kill them. Time consuming but if you’re a certain level necessary to win big and seems you needed to do that. Heck it seemed you got through faster and easier than I started but where you were at with Thanator I was able to take out in two or three hits by my bow and it’s not that high a level. :(
ha yup definitely didnt have patience and first and had to actually learn I couldnt just run through it with out being strategic is why I really enjoyed it!

I main using the Longbow and shortbow. My longbow is as powerful as I can get it, and I’m careful to use only the most beneficial mods (like a SID booster with +10m range and a bunch of mods with weakspot bonuses) for my play style. I am a sneaky ninja when I hunt, be it the fauna or RDA. Wearing a headset helps the most with locating prey bc of the sourround sound feature. Noise comes from a source, ALWAYS. Even the ambience sounds come from the animals and insects and birds you see. A noise always means something. I love cliff-jumping and landing on my Ikran. I’ve found if you’re about 25m off the ground, she’ll swoop in and pick you up. I rarely ever use the guns bc my bows are just so much better. Being sneaky is extremely advantageous.
Very nice! I was surprised and happy with how strong those bows can get. I thought at first I might be forced to use the guns all the time but nope keeps things fun to use variety.
Have you played the James Cameron version on older gen consoles? It’s pretty old but still awesome! I think you’d like it if you haven’t played it already. When Frontiers dropped it was like the greatest dream come true.
I still have my old xbox 360 but I haven’t really seen anyone selling the game online for it. I might have to check again, really interested in playing this older version since I never got to play it a long while ago.
TLDR: really good video but how do you even know it was 100 days, did you actually count every single daylight cycle? this is the first video i've seen with this game and it did not disappoint, really well done nice voiceover, not the typical annoying overly dramtic or super hyped style. just enough emphasis on the heavier parts of the story that i could somewhat feel it myself but i do have 1 critique, and that's that it did not read like a 100 days video other than the introduction, ending, and title there are no mentions or trackings of any amount of days passed or days left i feel like this is the wrong type of game for a 100 days video as it's a closed story in a very linear progression, it reminds me of the minecraft mod twilight forest where you cant access certain areas before beating a certain boss and then the pattern just repeats until you've beaten the last boss i think the reason it works in minecraft even with that mod is the non linear progression you can take, as you can immediately go from nothing to nearly the highest level armor and damage output both in twilight forest and most other mods with avatar it would effectively just be a speedrun to see if you could in 100 ingame days actually beat the game, i'm sure you could set a number of restrictions and arbitrary finishlines just like in minecraft but unless you put any emphasis on the timeline of 100 days it kinda just falls flat i did'nt mean for this to turn into a rant about "why minecraft fits better for 100 days video", that's not what i meant at all again, really good video, earned you a sub and cant wait to see what else you got!
u r spot on! I wasnt even planning to make this a 100 days video. But its marketing haha, for the algorithm, and allows for a popular thumbnail style that will help get clicks. During editing i gave up on trying to do the day by day thing, thats why it only exists "day 1" you see at the beginning. The story format made it unecessary I felt, because I didnt need an interesting challenge or goal for the 100 days but rather people could hopefully just get hooked following the interesting story : )

I've completed the game twice now just as enjoyable as the first time I've seen many struggle with the last strike mission but it's easy if you have the right set up but sky breaker that's hard.
Massive Entertaiment really outdid themselves with the graphics and the details in this open world. Which makes me kinda hopefull for their Star Wars Outlaws.

I have an addiction to this game that makes me not even want to play Hogwarts legacy, which is also really good and I'm a massive Potter fan so that tells you just how life-changing this game was it. It connects me to this world that I have been addicted to since the moment. I saw the 2009 movie and this man gives this game the time of day that it truly deserves. It has its bugs but there is so much detail and so much life and the things that they tried to that. I'm willing to put those bugs aside because the game really is just that good
I have been a hard core fan of Avatar since that first movie in 2009 and when they announced this game I had super low expectations, but was so happy it turned out great IMO. Agreed, all games have their bugs here and there but most games these days dont run half as good as this (or look it). I appreciate you!

There is however some very nice rewards if you do take these bigger bases without being seen and have the enemy alerted. Though if you get detected and kill the enemy that is about to alert (it takes them some time to inform the reinforcements) than you are still safe and you get to go into one of their loot rooms that you can't get into when you are seen and they alerted reinforcements. Because the reinforcements than take the extra loot with them.
This video inspired me to get back into it. I got so tired of the game kicking my butt when I would have to raid RDA bases 😂
The early game is surprisingly difficult! But eventually you become OP and its great haha. Appreciate the support
@@NickG100 When I played it the first time, I was so blown away by the world and also the stories, and the nice side quests, I forgot leveling the equipment en par. At least exploring every edge of the world, I found all the bell trees and tarsyu plants. Nonetheless, I was under powered a lot, and bringing down bases without alert was more difficult before the update. So I ground through many bases, the hard way. Thereby "hey human gear", I got decent gear, i.e. killing this first ugly feral Thanator with a good shotgun, but my bows were low grade, and distance fighting out of sneaky places requires the heavy bow. Mode my live harder then required. At least, by doing all the clan favor things, I got some decent Navi gear too, but rather late in the Kinglor forest. Then I realized, crafting decent weapons helps a lot, search the exquisite raw materials, have fun not adequately powered. Still, in the high plains, there are things to do, hard. A lv. 19 Base at lv. 15... Bur most of this base is automated turrets, go slow and steady, unseen, earn the best of all shotguns. Boosting you a full level forward. Later on, you learn to really go to badass material... In the second run now I did something else. Starting to craft immediately, and even for low quality recipes, only go with best raw material, search exquisite. It is incredible, how your level skyrocket. Being well into the game, controls, aiming, helps too. Most cases = overpowered. And sneaky became easier, kind of standard success now, further improving the gear. But... Most things this run, I did craft myself. Buying mostly the nice and cool additional boosts to the equipment. Leaving to the Zeswa plains at lv. 14, and even not everything in the Kinglor forest explored was fun. Going for the crafting skill tree in a run. Oh, and with these nice challenges you can get from this foreign Na'Vi at the Ikran place of the Kinglor tree, you can buy blade wing moth wings. And with these you can improve your raw material quality. Walkign into the borderlands to the Kamen'tire forests you can harvest low quality branches, you need exquisite for the Mastercraft er challenge. So do the trick. Become Mastercraft er early in the high plains. Recraft all your goods. And... Lv. 17 in an instant. So now it's time to visit the lv 19 base stalking, to get the shotgun, bringing you to lv. 18, and then erase the bloody laser thing in the Kinglor forest, some more special gear, almost lv. 19. The one or other recipe for crafting you get at the Sarentu totems. And quite some skill points readily but into damage dealing and health. And hey, at the party, just before the surprise attack, mit lv. 19. Oh, this helps a lot fleeing the imprisonment, and then taking some revenge, during the next steps. It is rather easy to leave the area, with all of the RDA eliminated. Even then, some nice additional gear right after. And besinde crafting, I rapidly got the skill of extracting spare parts from destroyed amps. So I had Avery thing to buy, I want. Now almost lv. 20 topped out, before meeting the Kamen'tire. And soon I'll get some more recipes, and then harvesting goods, yeah. But with the right food before, boosting the quality 20% over the max. It is somewhat nice to feel like. Neytiri or Jake when going into Attack Mode.
set the setting to easy, make sure you use you're sid hack to help take down mecs ect. you can go into settings and make sid hack automatically makes it easier, make sure you're weapons and armour are high level 👌 and sneak if you can and use heavy bow they are o.p good luck
Love this video. The game is a bit hard for me, but it’s really fun to watch your take on the characters progression. Since our character starts the game knowing as much as the player (very little) your commentary is perfect.

Favorite way of mine for the larger outposts relies on SID. Sneaking undetected and downing few enemies in my path and hacking each objective and storing each hack. Then executing all at once. The looks i imagine on the RDA's faces when everything is fine. Then everything is exploding and going down. Priceless.
If you're ever looking to playthrough this again (or if anyone just wants some tips after watching this playthrough) just know that the gear you craft (regarding bows/spears/outfits) are usually better than the stuff you can "buy" using the spare parts or clan favor.
Great ways to earn clan favor are of course by doing the clan contributions but also the side quests helps a ton!
Cooking different combinations of food gets you different boosts and I particularly like the sneaky and fleet footed boosts as they help a lot in getting clean and merciful kills while hunting. Take your time while hunting, crouch down, and being downwind from an animal actually does make a difference in this game. Carefully aim at their weakspots as they tend to glow a yellow color while using your Na'vi senses.
On the larger RDA bases my favorite tactic is to circle the perimeter on the high wall, taking out any non AMP suits along the way (ie soldiers, soldier elites, snipers, etc) as they tend to give me way more trouble than the AMP suits. You can use SiD to hack the AMP suits and then once they're hacked you can use your Ejector skill to one shot them. AMP suits with armour protecting their glass plate will need to be broken first before ejecting them. Once you've taken out all the lowly soldiers then go around and start taking out the more in the way AMP suits. You can usually sneak around most of them by just getting high up and then using SiD on them. Lots of the bigger bases have these cables/wires that string from the top of different tower or admin areas that you can jump on top of and use to get around without being spotted.
My typical weapon load out includes Spear Thrower, Heavy Bow, Short Bow, and Staff Sling as I can always craft more ammo for them while guns I have to search out ammo cases for. I don't tend to use the Long Bow unless I'm hunting.
Those playing the game for the first time I highly recommend you complete an area entirely before moving on to the next, I know it may feel slow but I promise that completing all the side quests, main quests, and taking down the RDA bases in one area before moving on will prevent you from constantly feeling underlevled in the next area. Get all the bellsprings, tarsyu saplings, and everything done. Lots of the quests reward you with gear, weapons, mods, food, or new recipes. Remember that some side quests do get blocked off if you don't complete them within a certain time frame of the story quest and you won't be able to access them later.

Playinf it the second time now, not to get rusty, before the DLC. The first time I was underpowered quite too. This time I spent time in gathering best resources and crafting early. Pays off to be almost lv. 20 before even entering the Kamen'tire land.
Pandora is one of the best video game worlds I had the pleasure of exploring.

If you take out an RDA base quietly, you'll be rewarded with better and more loot in the room. There is also a skill that gives you a chance of getting spere parts from looting RDA mechs. And dont waste your spere parts on special ammo. Most of the time, if you take down a base thats your lvl, normal arrows will be enough to clear it quietly and quickly.

I started this game soon after release and then randomly stopped as life got busy. I only went back to it at the beginning of this summer and restarted it. I’ve finished now and I’m so glad I went back to it. Despite the criticism I love the game and am glad to play a videogame in the world of Pandora since I love the avatar movies so much

I’m 90% through the story but I can’t stop doing side quests and hunting and just flying and harvesting I absolutely love this game! How did you do the RDA drill mission? It says that I’m at 87% right now but the mission where you have a 4 minute download on a computer after destroying the RDA drill is kicking my butt, did you just get lucky or what strategy did you use to complete it
Definitely do the side quests, unfortunately some quest disappear if u progress too far into the main story. Best to get them done first before finishing the story in order to avoid the quests disappearing, once they are gone you can’t complete them. I’ve finished the game twice and am trying to find all the side quests I missed. Ofc my exception to that is to do the main quests until you get the ikran.

yes, in the 2nd film there's reference to this. They can for I think like an hour without using a rebreather. The Avatars though (like Alma) were bioengineered to be able to breathe human air for longer.

This game was the most fun cake walk ever! You dont need to craft shit except for quests. Just buy whats available and blast your way tru the game (shotgun is OP) once you get the 4 xtra lifes from skill tree and the 250 damage shotgun every compound is eazy.

The "it's just a far cry reskin!!" arguments are so stupid, just because a game has 1st person shooting doesn't mean it the same thing as another game. AFOP is unique in lots of ways and is a great game despite some flaws like performance and buggy vents, it's a dream come true for avatar fans and the people crying that the game is doo doo caca far cry 13 clearly don't care enough to at least watch some gameplay. ok my rant is over the video is great!

@40:57 yeah noticed you kept rushing into fighting on the bases and I’ve only been playing a week but learned how to take em out is patience and strategy
I literally have taken over an hour but do not usually end up detected and get major loot for it. You take out some of the torrent secretly following the walls slowly as you use Navi vision. Learned hard way if you don’t take your time you’ll get caught by the torrents quick.
I take a few minutes to use Navi vision from a back door of wall that isn’t as heavily guarded. Memorize the soldiers patterns in patrol in their sections especially where some may meet one another so then take them out where whichever I do take out the others won’t see their bodies. In case they suits are higher than I am I’d search for hidden close enough place to scan them from above with light being detected. Then when time was right activate the hack and shoot their weak spot to one hit kill them. Time consuming but if you’re a certain level necessary to win big and seems you needed to do that. Heck it seemed you got through faster and easier than I started but where you were at with Thanator I was able to take out in two or three hits by my bow and it’s not that high a level. :(
ha yup definitely didnt have patience and first and had to actually learn I couldnt just run through it with out being strategic is why I really enjoyed it!

I main using the Longbow and shortbow. My longbow is as powerful as I can get it, and I’m careful to use only the most beneficial mods (like a SID booster with +10m range and a bunch of mods with weakspot bonuses) for my play style. I am a sneaky ninja when I hunt, be it the fauna or RDA. Wearing a headset helps the most with locating prey bc of the sourround sound feature. Noise comes from a source, ALWAYS. Even the ambience sounds come from the animals and insects and birds you see. A noise always means something. I love cliff-jumping and landing on my Ikran. I’ve found if you’re about 25m off the ground, she’ll swoop in and pick you up. I rarely ever use the guns bc my bows are just so much better. Being sneaky is extremely advantageous.
Very nice! I was surprised and happy with how strong those bows can get. I thought at first I might be forced to use the guns all the time but nope keeps things fun to use variety.

TLDR: really good video but how do you even know it was 100 days, did you actually count every single daylight cycle?
this is the first video i've seen with this game and it did not disappoint, really well done
nice voiceover, not the typical annoying overly dramtic or super hyped style. just enough emphasis on the heavier parts of the story that i could somewhat feel it myself
but i do have 1 critique, and that's that it did not read like a 100 days video
other than the introduction, ending, and title there are no mentions or trackings of any amount of days passed or days left
i feel like this is the wrong type of game for a 100 days video as it's a closed story in a very linear progression, it reminds me of the minecraft mod twilight forest where you cant access certain areas before beating a certain boss and then the pattern just repeats until you've beaten the last boss
i think the reason it works in minecraft even with that mod is the non linear progression you can take, as you can immediately go from nothing to nearly the highest level armor and damage output both in twilight forest and most other mods
with avatar it would effectively just be a speedrun to see if you could in 100 ingame days actually beat the game, i'm sure you could set a number of restrictions and arbitrary finishlines just like in minecraft but unless you put any emphasis on the timeline of 100 days it kinda just falls flat
i did'nt mean for this to turn into a rant about "why minecraft fits better for 100 days video", that's not what i meant at all

u r spot on! I wasnt even planning to make this a 100 days video. But its marketing haha, for the algorithm, and allows for a popular thumbnail style that will help get clicks. During editing i gave up on trying to do the day by day thing, thats why it only exists "day 1" you see at the beginning. The story format made it unecessary I felt, because I didnt need an interesting challenge or goal for the 100 days but rather people could hopefully just get hooked following the interesting story : )

I've completed the game twice now just as enjoyable as the first time I've seen many struggle with the last strike mission but it's easy if you have the right set up but sky breaker that's hard.
