So far the only method that worked for me. I hv seen videos suggesting neem oil, detergent or hand wash soap but nothing works. This rice method is very effective.

Nice effort and effective too. I had this mealybug problem and lost one of my favourite hibiscus plant. I could save my other hibiscus plant by using hand sanitizer ( spray or by cotton buds , depending on available pack) followed by solution of dish washing liquid. It's nearly the same method what you used but you made it from scratch. You deserve lot of appreciation. Keep helping the amature gardners like me.

Is there any way you can control the ants as well. This might help in controlling mealy bugs and other similar insects, since the ants act as a vector for spreading mealy bugs

Madam i have instant soln for it to take four gm AJVOIN and take one litr water and boil for five min and cool and filter and use direct on white bugs it works hundred percent and only two spray is sufficient to control ...thx

Can we use vodka
I think after fermentation alchohol is prodced in your bottlee,that works against virius then why not we use direct alcohol methyl or ethyl for this purposes pl give your opinion

Most plants can tolerate saltwater on their leaves and stems, but they will dehydrate if they drink saltwater from the soil. Even if they don't dehydrate, they may be poisoned by an excess of salt in their systems. The takeaway is to avoid watering your plants with saltwater if you want them to thrive.
