I started the Neapolitan series because of your recommendation and was honestly unsure if I would like it. I hadn’t really found a historical fiction book I liked but I gave it a chance since you spoke highly of it and love it! I am going to start the last one soon but the second one is definitely a page turner and so engaging. I also started the tv series and each series is one book!
I FINALLY finished Babel - it was so good and so heartbreaking! I'm taking a break from darker books to read Raising Steam from the Discworld series, but then I intend to read The Fifth Season and Priory of the Orange Tree. Thank you for this TBR - I'm super looking forward to your reviews!
I keep meaning to go back and finish the rest of Robin Hobb's books that I haven't gotten to as well as the Seven Waters series and Dreamer's Pool by Juliet Marillier. Heart's Blood is also a great book by her and is an Irish Beauty and the Beast retelling. She also has out a Warrior Bards series that I've been enjoying. Looking forward to reading both books by Rebecca Ross and Emily Wildes' Encyclopedia of Faeries soon. Hope you enjoy all the books you're planning to read!

Love all that green! I still need to read Age of Myth. Daughter of the Forest has been on my TBR for ages. The Sevenwaters series sounds so good! if you like the period and the setting of my brilliant friend I suggest you look for some classic Italian authors! I haven't read anything from Ferrante yet but I'm from the same region where all her books are set, others author who delved deep in characters studies and I really liked to read in school are Luigi Pirandello and Giovanni Verga, I've never seen them mentioned internationally but here in Italy are much rightfully celebrated
Dreamer's Pool is wonderful! I think about it often. I need to read the other Blackthorn and Grim books, but want to re-read Dreamer's Pool again first. Also, I absolutely ADORE her Sevenwaters series.
Don’t worry about finishing Robin Hobb’s books, you can always reread them! And Dreamer’s Pool is SO GOOD! It was my first Juliet Marillier and I absolutely loved it!

Anyhow, I noticed you keep Realm of the Elderlings books as the prominent series on your shelves behind you. I am on Fool's Errand right now and absolutely love this series, next to Kingkiller Chronicles at the top of my short list. Would you (or anyone reading who is in the know) tell me what exactly you like about RotE and why you specifically keep them there? Your favorite? Could you perhaps suggest me some fiction that is similar to RotE (keeping in mind I love Hobb and Rothfuss a lot). How about a suggestion for a fiction that keeps the spirit of the Fool and all he stands for and embodies? Or one with relative emphasis on relationships similar to that of RotE? Also Nightangel Nemesis comes out in April.
