John wrote this one. Brian and Roger weren't keen on the funky style. When fan and friend Michael Jackson heard it he encouraged them to release it as a single. It was their second #1 on the US Billboard 100. (Queen had only two such hits, the other being "Crazy Little Thing Called Love.)

Roger sings lead on a song he wrote I’m In Love With My Car. Plays drums at the same time. Awesome. He always backed Freddie up well because of his falsetto, Brian well too, n put his voice blended with Freddie’s so much, it’s hard to hear the distinction, though it added in the harmonies really well. IS THIS THE WORLD WE CREATED is an awesome song Brian and Freddie did acoustic style at the end of the Live Aid concert in 1985 later that night, after the full set of theirs and other groups had played. I teach CPR and first aid for pets…along with Staying Alive, the beat of this is the correct bpm ratio for lifesaving CPR 😂❤. Also, this was one of the first albums I bought, I was in high school when it came out and absolutely loved it, fell in love of course!! ❤ more recommendations from this time period would be Styx, (paradise theater album) Foreigner (foreigner four), Meatloaf (Bat out of hell) I really enjoy watching young people enjoy the bands of our youth…it gives me hope in a dark time 😂🫶
