After The Game is over 1. pressing set button and clock modes button and hit no until you see AUX timer on controller display. 2. follow the prompts it displays and use your phone or an accurate clock to set time of day 3. When it asks display the time of day on main timer Hit yes and 4. then if you shut down the controller and put it away and the clock will keep the time of day displayed in the red number time field moving like a normal clock until you startup the Unit again for another game. For MPC 5 AND 6 units with the standard grey button cover plate with a CHRONOMETER and not a clock modes button the steps are 1. Press [SET], then [CHRONOMETER] to begin configuring the time of day options: 2. When asked about an auxiliary time display, answer [NO] 3. When asked if you want to enable the chronometer key, answer [YES] 4. Answer [YES] when asked to set the chronometer. Enter the time of day, then press [YES]. 5. Finally, the controller will ask you if you'd like to turn the controller off and still have the TOD shown. This is your choice. If its an MPC7 you can tell those by the button cover plate having the sports ball or puck as the plate image and it has a Time Of Day Button And Not A CHRONOMETER OR CLOCK MODES button The Steps Are 1. To enter or exit time of day mode, press [TIME OF DAY]. 2. To set the time of day, press [SET], then [TIME OF DAY]. Remember The controller will prompt for the time of day.
