The All Mazda race had many close battles, including this very close battle between Stephen Di Cesare's 1990 Mazda Miata (camara car) and the RX3 of Bertrand Dupuis and the RX7 of Eric Ouellet.

I was surprised that the RX7 could out corner you. I thought your cornering speed and line was excellent.

It was an odd race. You’re right, I don’t normally get past in corners that easily but I also never out drag someone up the back straight that easily either. It was like the reverse norm to what my car does.
