@@assyla5031 Hi! I bought it at the airport. On the way to the MRT connected to the airport, you will pass by a booth there that sells them 😊

Nice work on the video! Have you ever considered applying for a job as a professional video editor? No flattery intended, just an honest suggestion. :)

@@michaeltakayama8415 Thank you! Nah, I’m not a big fan of video editing 🥲 It takes a long time and it’s exhausting for me. I prefer writing and filming 😁✍️

@@jamrellb You gotta do what you love! :)
But, don't rule it out completely. If you ever find yourself out job hunting, to cover your bills, I'm pretty sure you can land a paying gig, as a video editor.

@@michaeltakayama8415 Yep! But hopefully things will work out and I can continue making a living doing what I enjoy (and have enough money to hire a video editor 😅).
      Do you also edit videos?

@@jamrellb I have edited videos in the past (a very long time ago, before TH-cam), but I was never very good at it. I did spend quite a bit of time in editing suites, though, working on various projects with professional editors. As a result, I do have a pretty good idea of what the work entails, as well as knowing the difference between good & bad editing - and its importance to a successful video/film project.
Too many TH-camrs are focused on the filming, and neglect the editing & other post-production work. Bad mistake. As you have probably discovered, it usually takes much more time/effort to edit a project than it does to script or film it. This has always been true, esp. in major motion picture production.
Many people think that editing is just a technical skill. It is not. It is a creative process, as critical as any other in content creation. Bad editing can completely tank a project, despite having a fantastic script and great cinematography. On the other hand, creative editing can often salvage a mundane script with less-than-spectacular cinematography.
Film directors often get most of the credit for a wildly successful & proofitable project, but I can tell you that quite a few of those projects were saved by the editor.
Ok, ok - I'm going on and on too much and sounding like a preacher... a personality defect of mine. Time to get off the soapbox now. Sorry. :)
Anyways, in summary, I do think you have the talent to be a great editor - and it is a highly marketable skill.

@@michaeltakayama8415 No worries at all about the rants, I actually enjoy reading them hahaha. It’s awesome to hear you have a video editing background too and you know what you’re talking about.
I studied film and non-linear video editing, so I totally get how much work goes into it (and why it can be exhausting). When I’m doing research and writing scripts, I like to include editing ideas right from the start. I even think about the music and animations at that stage- it makes things smoother and faster when I actually sit down to edit.
I definitely want to keep improving my editing style, but for now, I’ve promised myself to enjoy the process instead of stressing about perfection. As long as it’s decent and the content offers value, I’m happy :) It’s a challenge balancing a full-time job with running the channel by myself, but I’m making it work, haha.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words. I'm really glad you’re enjoying my vlogs!
