I have 2019 model done over 2000 miles on it. Rapid bike evo plus quick shifter,Bridgestone S22,Nitron rear shock. Full arrow exhaust,braided lines and different pads.. Best bike i ever had i love it every time i get on it. And she keep up with anything on the road for less money plus trust with suzuki reliability.
Great job on audio. The bike sounds are fantastic. And thanks for the well-paced dialogue so I can hear the bike. More vloggers need to learn that (too in love with their own voices ;) b
Thank you for your kind words James, it's taken a lot of time and practice to get good audio! Even now I'm not happy with my last couple of videos so I'm still working on it haha. Also, I agree you have to hear the bike otherwise what's the point?? That's the reason I rarely use music in my videos too 👍
Thanks Moy - On this video my setup was an Insta360 One X on my helmet and a GoPro Hero 6 - plus a separate audio recorder for the helmet mic. I pretty much always use power banks because I don't like continually starting and stopping cameras - I'll inevitably forget to turn one back on at some point! Also (if I plan it right) I don't need to keep an eye on battery levels or carry spares.
@@moy_8256 I use a Smallrig Super Clamp on the handlebar (or mirror stem if possible) and then screw in a Ram Mount 1" ball. Then I use a Ram Mount short arm plus another 1" ball to attach to the camera. Fitting the power back is not so simple and includes using Velcro and strong elastic bands to keep everything int place.

Thanks for the reviews on the 750/1000 both on my possible next bike list along with MT09 variants and the Kwak Z9. Found your reviews very clear and informative. Having had big bikes before but currently riding a 690 Duke I like the fact I can give it a tonking in all gears and use 90% of its performance a lot. From that basis I suspect I'll be better off with the 750 but the 1000 is such great value.
Thanks! Yes the 750 is a more usable machine on the road in a similar vein to your 690, however the 1000 is a great machine with good potential for mods/upgrades. I love the Z900 RS too. Good luck!
Hi Rikky. Now that you tested both, the gsxs750 and gsxs1000, I would like to know if you looked at the RPM when riding at steady 62mph/100 kmh in 6th? I would like to know what is the gearing difference between these bikes. I think that both should be under 4500RPM. What can you say about this? Thanks, as always.
Hi Danijel, I didn't specifically look at the clocks at those speeds, but I've just looked back at some of my original footage from the GSXS1000 and found clip where I was riding at an indicated 62mph in top gear... the rpm was about 4200 rpm. My 750 footage is archived on another hard drive and so I'll look for that later today 😊

I just took a look at the footage and even though it's a bit blurry, I think the revs are approx 4300 rpm at an indicated 62mph.
@@RikkyTang Thanks Rikky. No problem. As I see this is a very good result for cruisin. I get 4500 rpm on my SV650. It is OK, but this one is even better. I dont like bikes that are to high on rpms when you ride them "ordinary". I wish you all the best in 2021. I will keep watchin your channel.

Hi there, yes a quick question but a tricky one to answer! I really gelled with the 750 but at the same time I'm a bit of a speed freak and so would be tempted by the 1000! The thousand is about £2400 more expensive though which is not small change... Purely in terms of feel and emotion I have to say I enjoyed the 750 more but then again the 1000 wasn't run in so I know there is more to come from that one. On balance I think my need for speed might overwhelm everything else and I'd plump for the 1000 lol If you've recently got your full licence then I'd suggest caution... a 150hp bike is incredibly fast and you can get yourself into big trouble in no time at all. Test ride the 750 if possible as it might provide all the performance you need!
I'm 65 and getting too old for my ZX14R and Hayabusa. I have been thinking of getting the GSX-S 1000 as a replacement for the two monsters. I'll wait and see if anything new comes out in 2021 that would suit me better, but I think the GSX-S would do fine!
After two fast faired bikes like the Hayabusa and ZX14, the windblast at speed from the GSX-S might come as quite a shock! But it will slow you down so there is that 😁
White 2019 here. Snatchy throttle can be eliminated with an ECU flash. Woolich Racing if you decide DIY. After market M4 exhaust complete can eliminate 10 pounds. (Requires reflash). Aftermarket shock with all three adjustments fixes lousy suspension. Great bike regardless.
Thanks for the comment and thanks for subscribing! 👍 You make a good point; there is nothing wrong with a well designed halogen headlight... it doesn't help that the halogens in my own S1000R were total rubbish at night and pretty much forced me into either trying LEDs or HIDs!
@@RikkyTang it may be worth trying some decent quality bulbs like Osram Night breaker laser, same wattage bulbs but very high quality with a much cleaner focused beam, thanks for the reply 👍
I've got the 2018 Gsx-S1000, Suzuki didn't put all the bells an whistles on it in order to keep it within an affordable price range but the bike itself is solid so after a few suspension upgrades, emission deletes an better tires it really is an amazing beast. The power on this thing is incredible an it never disappoints
No problems Danijel, I got there eventually 😁😁 I never mentioned to you that the bike basically had zero miles on the clock when I picked it up, so I couldn't really ride it like I wanted. I had forgotten about that until it was time make the video for TH-cam so I hope that doesn't spoil the video for you too much.

@@RRRRefuelRideRace Yeah hopefully another date will happen 😊 In terms of sitting position I think the bikes are quite similar even though the chassis of the bikes are quite different. I can't really pick a winner out of the two.

I'm sure I replied to your message but I can't see it now! But yes you're right, pillion seats are mostly an afterthought nowadays. The Z900RS has a reasonable looking pillion seat although I never took a good look at the time.
Nice one, my mate just got 1 of these with 800 miles 😊 So it was good for me to gen up on it. We did a quick blast to Tetbury and Cirencester yesterday, he really liked it. Even with price difference I still think I'd go for our S1KR's though 😁
There is quite a price difference especially with that current discount, but when you factor in electronic suspension, rider modes and mmoooaar pooowwerr then yeah I'm perfectly happy with the BM 😁 The GSXS did surprise me though... its bit more focused than I thought it would be!
@@RikkyTang I did this very thing myself, had a Gsxs1000F Then changed it to an S1000R (different league) but... You pay for it! Now on a 750 which is more fun to ride than both of them and half the price of the S1000R was, but.. Depends on your circumstances and what you want from your bike of course! 😁. @@RikkyTang Very true! Sometimes I miss the S1KR but it's more to do with the extra performance you can't really use.. But I know that's not the point! 😂. Fortunate to have two bikes so can't complain the other being a tourer too. 750 is like an angry terrier by comparison although actually less power 😂. Had the 750 3 years and tempted by the new Gsxs 1000... Either that or keep what I have and upgrade it further again! 😂🤦♂️.. Never ending. Its an addiction!
I like this dash as well, it's rational Not designed to be sexy but logical and legible Have had reverse LCD and hated it, why make info less readable so the dash can be cool I wish naked suited me because I would love to try this bike. I spend too much time on highway getting to nice rural roads, and at 6'1" the wind blast is annoying
Yeah I didn't expect to like the dash as much as I do - good job Suzuki! If the naked one isn't for you then it would be worth considering the GSXS-F version. I am 5'7" (170cm) and my inside leg is 32"
